Yeah it reminded me a bit of Aliens too.

I have only played the game on the default HIGH graphics settings on my devices, has anyone noticed any slow down running the game on EXTREME settings? I do have an iPhone 6S and a Sony Android tablet. Been playing on both.

Also, whats the best value for money packs to buy to start with? Not the silly money ones but the $5 etc ones?

Hey there, we're currently not supporting App Thinning. It is an online game which saves to cloud at the beginning and end of each mission, so in theory, you only need the connection during these two stages.

You know it's bribing, right? ;)
Anyway... This will stay online. However, in theory, you really do need to be connected only at the beginning and end of each mission. Sooo, if you play a long one, it may last you from home to work :)

So, to those who have tried this, how are the controls? In my experience, console controls don't really translate well to mobile, so I'm wondering if dead Effect does it differently? Is it still the dual-virtual-joystick setup, with an awkward third button for shooting?

Sorry Billy, no auto-fire on the bow! Where's the fun in that? ;)

Ipad air, 8.4.1, on ipad air default settings.

I dropped the settings down a notch and everything played smoothly, although looking just a little less stellar.

iPhone 6s Plus zero lag on extreme setting. This phone screams in this game with processing power.

My iPhone 5s struggles a little bit.

Hope you don't mind me answering - the on-screen controls are fully customizable, both in terms of size and position. You can move them around the screen and have them where it's most convenient for you. Most people who play with on-screen controls have the auto-fire on, which eliminates that awkward third button. Hope this helps :)

Definitely gonna play with the control options as the default feels sluggish. Perhaps it's that player speed is just slow, or perhaps the aim-smoothing makes it feel that way, whatever the case, hoping I can tweak it.

Ever since NOVA 3 I have been anxiously awaiting another awesome sci fi FPS, and 3 levels in I am friggin' ecstatic over this one. It's truly amazing, and the fact that it is FREE is the icing on the cake. No energy, no timers... someone needs to tell Madfinger to check this out because clearly they don't realize that it can be done.

I have the 6plus and there are slow downs but very minimal and only happens when too many things happen at once, however i turned off bloom and shadow and voila no lag gameplay and still enjoy the extreme settings it has to offer ;)
