How do you get outfits? I haven’t found any yet, finding a bunch of blueprints but no outfits.

@ste86uk outfits are spread out through the whole game. You get variations of outfits from bosses for beating them on different difficulty. Enemies drops outfits as well. How come you didn’t come across at least a few yet? In the starting room there’s a new door below the jars where the tailor is. That’s where you can try new outfits and choose one before each run. Of course, to get the outfit available first you need to get the blueprint to the collector and unlock it with cells. Which range from 2 to 1000. Depends on a rarity of outfit. Some outfits are available automatically like the baguette one, but to access the Tailor you need to find and unlock at least one. There’s a bunch that drops from enemies even on 0BC difficulty, or you can even buy some like the Golden one in the Specialist’s shop in Prisoner’s Quarters for 20.000 gold.

@bx59 War javelin and Lightspeed doesn’t work for me. I tried. If you throw the javelin and it doesn’t hit an enemy, it comes back automatically. So, it’s been fixed I assume. On the other hand, since playing on 0BC is so easy and I still need a few blueprints, I’m doing the craziest stuff, like I went through with War Javelin in one hand, Boy’s Axe in the other and used Decoy to attract enemies. Too much fun.:)

Anyone else hate the forgotten sepulcher? The hardest zone for me, I still do it but it just feels tougher and more tense than others.

Anyone experiencing a sound loop bug? After playing for a while, a random sound effect starts playing repeatedly. I am using iPhone 8 with iOS 14.1.

@macplash I haven't got the chance to test it myself, will check when I do and let you know!

@ste86uk Agreed, the light dynamic on that biome is the most frustrating thing on the game for me as well, along with the tentacles of Conjunctivius.

@Jstorm I'm having this issue on every single build so far, mostly triggers in the Ancient Severs biome. I'd say once in every 15-20 runs.

Anyone able to unlock custom mode? It should drop at Ramparts but I went there 3 times and it never dropped. I wonder if it is a bug or not and I already unlocked everything pre update so I don't want to start over for a bug like that...

Custom mode is unfortunately not included on this update.

@macplash damn and there’s me thinking oh my one outfit costs 75 that’s a lot lol

Enjoying unlocking and trying new weapons, loved my flint and explosive bow on the last game, quite like the dash thing? Forgot it’s name but the one where you speed through them and back I’d slaughter them but it felt too unpredictable. But excited to try new weapons and feel like I’m getting better again now.

Most damage I’ve ever had on any weapons...the flint slaughtered anything normal hit never mind crits and the box slaughtering mobs in one shot

Well well well.. finally! I’m not gonna lie, this took some serious effort and quite a lot of patience and nerves, but at last, I’m in the endgame!

@bx59 that gif, lol.. anyway... Going against Giant was pretty nerve wrecking. I was significantly underpowered and wasn’t able to get the desired equipment the whole run. I had Giantkiller on VII (while other items were already available at XII) and Giant whistle at VIII (again, in the last minute I got offered one at XII but its cost was over 200.000 gold which I didn’t have) - anyway, Giant whistle is like my favorite item in the whole game for Survival build. It has 20 seconds cooldown, but combined with right mutations (like Instinct of the Master of Arms that decreases the cooldown of skills by 1 second with each critical hit - Giantkiller does only critical hits on elites and bosses) that allowed me to hit with that whistle pretty much constantly. And considering its stats like 100.000 DPS (with +250% base damage) + perks like 40% additional damage and 175% damage on frozen enemies, there’s nothing else to say.;)

But the biggest help was the availability to avoid my arch enemy - Conjunctivius - by going through the door in Slumbering Sanctuary right into the Cavern. This way I only had to go against the Concierge, which is generally a walk in the park. I just can’t deal with Conjunctivius, she’s pissing me off with her move set.

Last but not least, the huge spoiler that helps me deal with the Giant (and HOTK afterwards, although he’s really nothing in comparison to the Giant in terms of difficulty):
For the boss fight against the Giant I switch my control scheme to auto-hit and this way my health flask is used instantly and automatically when my health drops to zero. This way I don’t need to watch my health bar at all and instead focus on spamming skills and secondary weapon only.

So yeah, 5BC. Today I’m gonna try for the first time. I’m wondering how long and how many attempts is it gonna take to get to the Astrolab. Wish me luck!

@macplash I was seriously thinking about trying survival builds last night, and your latest setup is very close to what I had on my mind! I'll be pushing for Giantkiller (for the bosses + elites) + Repeater Crossbow (for mobs + infinite crits) + Ice Grenade / Root Grenade / Wolf Trap (immobilizer) + Giant Whistle (massive hit), combined with the Instinct of the Master of Arms. In theory, this should work wonders with a couple of right synergies included. Let's see!

@bx59 it does work wonders indeed although against bosses and elites mostly (I’d wrote only, but it’s manageable), there are just significantly easier ways to go through hordes of enemies.. but if your goal is to slay the boss, this is the way to do it. I prefer to rather struggle a little on my journey to the finish line than getting destroyed just inches from it.

Currently I realized the Collector is missing entirely on 5BC so I’m battling with the decision to either keep playing 4BC and unlock all the outfits first or keep trying to reach the final boss on 5BC. So far I’m struggling make it through the Time Keeper. Got like 5 runs that ended right there. She’s ridiculous on 5BC. But to my defense I didn’t try to run Survival build yet. I do want to reach the Astrolab, but all those collected blueprints just bothers me. I’m losing approximately 1000 cells each unsuccessful run on 5BC knowing I could use them on all those outfits first. At least I don’t have to bother myself with Legendary Forge that is already fully upgraded. So, yeah...

Do you guys stress about not getting hit on cell runs or just happy to survive?

Also wondering what is it with that door and the thing that went into the lava I don’t get what I’m suppose to do?

I also never figured out anything with those candles that do a glint when you go near them and I still haven’t found anything that helps me with those?

@macplash Legendary Forge is what I'm grinding at the moment, it makes the biggest difference imho. Since you've already got that completely upgraded, I'd personally push for the Astrolab but hey, who doesn't want a full closet after all! :) For the mobs, Repeater Crossbow will be my game but will see, the lack of custom games is kinda bothering at this point, you know...

@ste86uk When I'm grinding for cells, I try to do 30 and 60 kills on the first two biomes w/o getting hit to get the extra cells so yeah, at 2BC I'm stressing about it a little. But the second I upgrade my Legendary Forge to a decent point, I'll be just happy to survive. For the lava thing, are you talking about the giant hole in the very beginning of the every run?

Absolutely not. On lower difficulties I’m being vigilant and reasonably careful not to get hit until I got 60 flawless kills and then I don’t care anymore. But with 4BC and 5BC you get poisoned by getting hit so it requires more concentration and approach. Although cells are not of any concern anymore as there’s nothing much to spend them on. For me the main benefit is to have a choice of weapons or skill items.

You need to detach your head (if you’ve beaten the HOTK at least once so you have Homunculus rune) and throw it on the platform from the bottom in the middle of the room so you can open the door and make your way further to the right. There’s the key to the Cavern that you will use in the Graveyard to open the entrance door. It’s one time thing and after that the door will stay open forever. Maybe I should mark this as a spoiler though.;)

Dunno what you mean. Can you post a screenshot which candles are you talking about?

@bx59 yes I mean the giant hole at the start of every run, I think it’s the one Macplash just answered. The repeater is pretty great isn’t it! Sometimes I hate the items I get given on a run, makes it so much harder.

@macplash thank you, I’ll try that. I only got the spider rune the other day that’s been very useful and fun to use for getting about and dodging too. I’ll screenshot tomorrow when I play again.
