Tim Schafer and Dave Grosman def good game I'm enjoying it and thanks now I know how to access the secret game
Great! I used to finish this with the help of game guide when I was small. Now I want both Secrets of the Monkey Island back to the Apps Store!
Thimbleweed park is a game just like maniac mansion type made from those developers for iOS and pc. Please check it out and get the word out. I'm going to be featured in the game , in a way, because of being a backer for the game. It's going to be the modern day point and click version of a CSI , or true detective, or first 48 hours type of game. Check it out Promote it Follow it Play it
Gotta say - very excited for Thimbleweed Park! They don't make them like that any.... Oh.... Wait, they do! DoTT on the other hand - I couldn't resist getting it for Mac the day the remaster came out (completed with the Girlfriend over 2 weekends - amazing I had forgotten 90% of the puzzles solutions so it was like a proper revisit!!). I'm confident to give it 5 stars for iOS tho!
This made my day. I'm so excited. This the game I can play 100 times and never get tired of it. $5 is a steal for this.
Totally buying this as soon as I get home from work, I bought this on Steam a while back, but unfortunately haven't gotten round to finishing it yet (damn you Fallout 4, and now Mirrors Edge Catalyst!). I haven't bought anything in a while for my iPhone and I can definitely see this working great on a touch screen. It's sad though that they have to sell it for such a low price on iOS, as on the other platforms it costs a lot more even when taking into account things like Steam sales, and rightfully so as the production values and quality is top notch Edit.. just noticed, the £3.99 price here in the UK looks like a sale price as Grim Fandango and Broken Age have also been reduced to this price on iOS
I need to grab Grim Fandango! Already have broken age but fandango has been on my list a while and only 5$ only thing that has kept me from buying it is size of the game but i will figure that out haha This game is very nostalgic to me Still haven't found MM
Yes I LOVE this, and most of the other point and click games as well to be fair, from back in the day. I was searching for this ages ago after finishing Monkey Island II on mobile and couldn't believe it hadn't been ported to iOS. Jubbly
Do you guys mean CPU at start up screen if so not sure how cuz all I can do there is save/load I will keep hunting just like I do in the game No walkthroughs for this or grim fandango gonna try it on my own From what I hear the latter though may break me on that
I figure you're talking about the CPU with the fully playable Maniac Mansion in-game: No, it's not the CPU on the start up screen but Spoiler the Computer in the Room with the Hamster and Ed Edison the guy collecting stamps. You can't miss it, it's in the present time when you play as Bernard on the second floor, room on the right - Just tap on/use the Computer in that room and you should be good to go . I haven't played the iOS version yet though - But MM has been included with every release so far (Original, Remastered on PC) so it's a safe bet that it's included in the iOS version too. Besides, very excited about this. Could play through this amazing classic once a month. My absolute favorite Point'nClick of all time. (But also have high hopes for Thimbleweed Park, can't wait for their release)
Hard to say. Steam version of remastered has German and English voiceovers (http://store.steampowered.com/app/388210/?l=german) but App Store description only lists English as language. Maybe they left it out to save some space? Probably going to buy the game tomorrow (have to decide what to delete from my device to clear space first) hope I can give you a definite answer then (if nobody else more in the know here has chimed in by then)
