That was a bug. We forgot to reset the sidequests. I think I fixed this in v1.2 which will be out this week. Also 2.5M food wow.... I definitely need to add a better limit there.
That was a bug and since you're on the test version, its fixed for you Sorry you didn't get to abuse it while it lasted. Btw we're sending a new test version and there will probably be a lot of bugs with gathering & village. Be sure to try them out and let us know
It does make sense when you say it like that.. hmm.. Do you really think this would make the game more fun? I kind of like the grinding part at the start of the generations.

Yes it might break the game if I get millions of invested food in my new generation. However, I feel that there has to be away to make the investment useful by the end of a generation.. too much wasted food.. Possible solutions: 1- New generation item that lets a percentage of invested food pass to the next generation. 2- convert excess of invested food into gps in a logerthmic scale. 10000 food = 1 gp 1000000 food = 10 gp 10 million food = 100 gp
I think being able to start a new gen with 40k food would definitely make it too easy in the beginning, but a little food as a gen item purchase might be helpful.
This is actually a great idea # well both of them! Once you have gone through so many generations getting food is no longer an issue. With my gloves I can craft most foods as soon as I can equip them. So giving a lil food at the start wont hurt. Making it a generation item will ensure that you must have done a few run throughs before you're worthy of it and the generation item would give only us 1% each level up. As there are really very few ways to farm GP at this stage, getting generation points also a great idea and could be used in conjunction with idea no.1. This would give us a good reward for not using the food we invest and just roughing it out.
Cant start the game... I have the most recent TestFlight version but my game won’t load, either locally or from the cloud. It hangs on the main menu screen and eventually closes out. Tried deleting and reinstalling but didn’t help. Maybe my cloud save is corrupted if that’s even possible. Update: now I can’t even get to the main menu. Crashes at the title screen. Update: This seems to be happening only when I try to load my cloud save. Which means all of the gen progress I’ve made is lost if I can’t load that file
I'm going to put a better limit on the investor. It should not be working as an infinite food source, doing that just breaks the game. So I guess after the limit you won't be having 2456346456 energy worth of food so it can be used up.
I'm also running newest test flight. I don't seem to have any major issues but after sending my minion I closed the app he was gone about 20mins but I didn't reopen the app till the next day and it loaded normally but my minion didn't come back and wasn't collecting either. I also had a speech bubble that said I had exhausted my minion. Maybe that message appearing caused a glitch. Edit: nope happens again and again.this is what happens when I get back into the app after getting a notification that my minion has returned and the recall button does nothing. Edit: but a simple restart of the app fixes it. Also minor random crashes while minion is out. Tried to add armour to my minion is causing my game to crash after I send him out. Time away reads 0:00 and then crashes

Best game This game is one of, if not the best crafting game I have ever played. The only thing I could ask for now is if there was a longer progression of tools that you could use. Other than amazing work and keep being awesome
Best game ever I love this game the only issues with it in my opinion is that the it sometimes seams like you can never get something that's like an 80% chance (but that's probably just my bad luck and not the games fault)
I had a similar thought, but realized Kasino already fills this function. Spending food on gambling for the shiny stones and the Tactical Shiny Tool is a way to convert money into GP late in the game. Does this approach work well for you too? Do you think it would help to make it so that you can gamble for the same item over and over, but with a scaling cost for each spin?
This might also be an option if there is a side quest que or button that takes you to another screen then it might be an option to have the gambler there permanently. Or maybe just add him to the village like the merchant. But I think we need more ways to gain GP at the end game atm the gambler and levelling is the only way I know for end game GP
