It's slowed down to a crawl on all fronts. I'm hoping that after pushing out this update, things will pick back up for a while. We'll see!
Most of the stuffs from this post way back are in the works. http://forums.toucharcade.com/showpost.php?p=3196813&postcount=131 Cool indeed! --- So hey, I'm working on some virtual joystick controls. To anyone who has played David: Should jumping be handled by the joystick as well, or should it still have a separate button? Right now I have it so that the joystick handles it all, but it just feels weird. I'm not sure if other games even do this or not. Feels weird though. Really loose and clunky. I know the point of the joystick was to free up a hand, but I don't think one hand can handle both movement and jumping. SO, I'm starting to lean towards keeping the jump button, but I can be persuaded. Any opinions? The joystick definitely feels better (for left/right movement) than the D-Pad option on a bigger-screened device; no more stretchin' them thumbs!
Oh god, I will definitely try to help you prefect everything because I love your game so much. But is past 4am and I need to sleep and I will be busy tomorrow. I am always so happy when a dev has so much passion for their game.
Gotcha! Perhaps, yes. But I think it's a bit too similar to the top hat that is already in the game. Hmmn. Maybe hair instead of a hat? Maybe: ??
This game is very unique but it doesn't play quite well on the iPad. The "right" button is somewhat hard to reach using thumb, and iPad users like me try to avoid using tilt control when we can. Still, David definitely has a personality.
It's free "today." So that means it's just on sale for $0 briefly. So no bad types of freemium things happened now, or any freemium things.
