Has anyone been able to beat mission 16? It's too hard. I try over and over and over. 300 meters is past the first boss. To do that without losing one heart is insane. I'm just stuck. I've tried taking my time. I've tried everything. Over 30 times. I've gotten to 174. Billy
Have you tried using all 4 power ups in a single run? I haven't gotten that far yet, but when I get stuck, that's how I roll. Does sound like a hall of a challenge though. lol. Edit: I just checked the game and that's actually the mission I stopped on the last time I played. I'll let you know if I have any luck. Update: I just played and made it to 173 before I lost a heart, lol.
I'm just asking this because I don't have a real answer, but have you closed all other apps and or rebooted your device? I have had some lag in the game when there's a lot going on on screen. It might be a RAM issue. What device are you using?
I'm OCD about having more than one app open at a time so I know that's not it. I'm on an iPhone 6, iOS 9.3 128GB of storage with 64.2 GB free. By the way, it's not so bad that I couldn't get used to it, but it seems to me that the touch controls are not as responsive as they could be. Just a super-slight delay.
Update 2- I just made it to 287 meters then got shot by one of those damn canons. If I had just one more dash attack I'm pretty sure I would have made it. If you're still looking for advice here, I used the missile and dash power up and just took it slow. Go slow enough and the missiles will take out everything in front of you. I made sure I had full dash attacks for the stage boss and just hit him with all of them in rapid succession. 13 more meters, damn. lol Update 3 - just beat it with the same strategy. Got to 465 meters without getting hit. It is doable.
Stage 5 is a beast! After a couple days, I've managed to make it to the last challenge, so definitely looking forward to new content. Definitely having trouble with stage 5. It's a huge leap in difficulty from stage 4. Seems like there are always 2 triple-fire cannons on the screen at any given time, especially if I'm trying to regenerate some hearts. To the devs: It would be nice to have some sort of boost or skip stage power up akin to what you see in jet pack joyride or subway surfer. It's kind of tedious going all the way through the stages from the beginning. I'm at a point where I don't care about the coins, and I don't feel any kind of threat at all until stage 4. Would be nice to spend coins or something to buy boosts to skip stages. Lastly, a few tips for those having trouble advancing - especially on the challenges that require you not to lose any hearts: 1: Learn the importance of the double-tap! When you're on one side of the screen, do a quick double tap to stay on that side of the screen & avoid most obstacles. 2: slow down!!! 3: buy the upgrades to your missles as soon as you can and ALWAYS watch the ad to fire the missles twice as fast. 4: unless your challenge requires you to not lose any hearts, ALWAYS spend the 1000 coins to replenish your hearts over time. With just the heart replenisher and 2x missles, you can easily hang out near the bottom of the screen and let your missles take out everything in front of you. 5: save your dashes for the guardian bots and you'll never lose more than 1 heart on him. Then there's plenty of time to replenish that heart at the beginning of the next stage 6: have fun and buy the coin doubler. This game is great so far and the devs need your support!
Devs, Any idea when we will be getting the new update with the colored suits? What else will be in the update? I need me a jet black suit! Still loving this game. I play everyday. I'm almost rank 12. I'm working at it slowly. I do watch the ads to spin the wheel and to double the daily rewards. Billy
This is definitely my go to game when I want to just play something for a few minutes. Been playing it a bunch on my Apple TV as well, works great. I'm at level 10, make 2500 meters total, which shouldn't take very long. 11 sounds like a pain I haven't used any of the powerups other than testing them in the beta, and limit myself to 1 battery only if I'm past the 2nd boss. Might have to change my rules a bit it sounds like... My tip so far would be to use the platforms as much as possible. Basically a free dash where you can take out 2-3 enemies before the cool down. Saves up your dashes for the bosses.
I have 122,000 coins and 118 batteries. I've been getting lucky with the wheel. When I get to 125 batteries then I go nuts on continues until I get to 35. In case I need them for a mission. So far I've made it to the 5th boss. I always use the boosts. I wish they would sell permanent ones. I'd buy them. I get why they won't. But I keep hope alive lol The reason I have so many coins is I don't know what they will be charging for the new suit colors and whatever else they add. So I definitely use the ads for the boost. So I did the 2500 m in 4 tries, then collect 25 charges in a couple tries (realized you could get that one pretty easily by Spoiler dashing into each charge as you go by them, so you never lose one ). Now I have to make it to the 2nd boss without losing a life. I know you guys did it, but I would have to have a miracle run to do that... I always mess up on the bosses and get at least one whack... So those charge ups are pretty great I tried the fast missile recharge on one of my runs... might have to do that more often. Thats a serious amount of cash and batteries, LordShad0wz. So far I've been making almost exactly enough to buy the next upgrade as they come up. Also looking forward to the new update, hope these guys are doing well with this...
Update is out people! Go get it! New missions! I got leveled up because of the reorganization! Which was pretty cool actually. My dashes are maxed out now. I'm still working my way to rank 12. I'm happy they added more missions. Devs no new suits though. To be honest I'm a little disappointed! Will they be in the next update? I can't wait for the new suits! Billy
Thanks Billy - I played last night and wondered how I got to level 11 - I didn't remember doing that. I'm still at the "kill level 2 boss without dying" mission. Tough one, but I did make it to 3 with no extras.
So... made it last night past the 2nd boss with no lost lives - used the fast missile recharge and went super slow as suggested, made a huge difference. Then the next 5 missions I did in 1 go each, no extra stuff. I'd love to see the stats on where people give up and never touch the game again, I'd have to think that mission would be an inflection point.
The suits and the new character are in the next update.. It's currently planned for the first week of June. Also, please don't expect to be able to paint the suit but there will be different color variations with unique helmets and other parts of the suit.

No thank YOU! I love that black suit. To be honest you should have offered them as IAP I would have spent a little real money to buy it. You charged way too little in game cash for it as well. So what else will you be adding to the game? I still want permanent IAP bonuses added. I always hold out hope haha! Are you guys thinking of any other future projects as well?
