Thank you all so much for your support. We are slowly moving our way up the FREE charts.
Graphics are nice but personally I find the gameplay a little slow and repetitive for my liking so won't be upgrading to the paid version.
Couple of things I noticed, the intro screen seems to need multiple taps to start the game, level complete screens need a tap to close function so you don't have to sit through the bugle call every time. I found the buttons a little small and close to each other - sometimes I would launch a depthcharge when trying to activate the sonar, also is there a delay on the buttons? as quite often I noticed I had to pound an active button several times to get it to work which is a pain if you are trying to time your launches. Oh and a screen flip option would be beneficial for iPhone or Touch orientation.
For me some additions that would pick up the pace and improve the game would be, a return to port for refit between missions where you could buy upgrades based on score or kill count that could include the ability to deploy sonar buoys that give prolonged but limited sonar coverage (these could be sinkable by the enemy), depthcharge launcher and sonar upgrades for faster\more frequent launches. Contact, Depth and Time triggered depthcharges of different sizes\damage radius (this would add more strategy to the game). Additional weapons like ship launched torpedoes, mine deployment or perhaps the ability to call for air support or additional fleet support.
Increase the playable battle screen size\width of each level so you can scroll perhaps 2 or 3 screens for larger missions. Also introduce occasional friendly subs you need avoid sinking.
Lastly the option to play either side so you could command a sub and sink ships with the addition of a score based infinite mode with high score board or even one on one multiplayer gameplay.
I think some of these additions would make the game epic.
Those are some fantastic suggestions, very well thought out.
The full version does have air-strikes & mines.
You do have some good ideas for improvement!
