can be good, but you really need some art direction there.. i mean the game play is good enough but to increase the engagement of more players you have to work on your game BGs and your platforms.. work on that and you are golden. best of luck... cheers
Thanks so much for the interest/suggestions guys. I'm a one man show with the help of my kids so we are doing our best to make Darthy an awesome old school pixel platformer. Don't have a release date yet but will post when we finish adding more juice to the game and have a concrete date cheers
We are hoping to get controller support working for beta testing in September hopefully. I will pm you when we are sick of playing and have a polished build in testflight for you to give us feedback. The game looks good, sorry but i have to ask how was it work with buildbox framework ? is it worth the money?, how complicated is it ?
We so appreciate hearing feedback like that. Yes it is BB. It does have limitations but it forces you to look at things differently. I tried all the other wysiwyg game builders at the time and BB just worked for what I wanted to do and at the time didn't want to learn to program (now slowly learning unity). I would give the demo a go and see if it fits with where you are at. BB is great for quickly prototyping ideas.
Yay Believe me I am so happy to see the announcement. I have been following the game ever since AppSpy made a really early alpha build and have been wanting to play it so badly. If u see in the thread u will see my desperate posts and I would love to help the dev in any way that I can such as beta testing and giving feedback and will definitely buy on steam if available. Good Luck dev keep up the good work and would love to play it as soon as possible please release fast.
