Well, please remember the mode is called 'Missions' and not 'Campaign'. This mode offers a different way to achieve high scores, missions can be replayed so it's possible to improve your overall high score even after completion. Having said that, there is an ending and I hope there's enough new stuff to justify the unlock price : )

Thanks ... hope you like the game!

I don't mind free + consumable ... because I get the chance to play a game for free. If the game is too slow/hard/limited without consumables, then I can just move on.

Personally speaking, I'm not keen on paid + consumable ... if an app has consumables I worry the game will be balanced in a way to promote their use, and so don't tend to pay the initial price.

But ... plenty of players obviously don't mind, so who knows, in a year or two I might be trying to charge you an extra $1 for twenty exploding bananas!

    Cheers : D

If you're planning any updates, one thing I wouldn't mind seeing is a ship upgrade system. That's probably a big thing to add to a game once it's out though.

Gotta say that this game has some of the best lighting in an iOS game since Gene Effect.

It'd probably have to be a separate game mode ... some players may not want ship upgrade options, it'd affect high scores too. Will see how things go : )

The lighting is a single strong direction light for the sun providing a dark side (hence the name of course). The level asteroid also rotates so the sun falls on different regions as each level progresses. There's a point light for the ship's headlights. Btw, when you use a smart bomb, your head lights fail for a few seconds ... it's because smart bombs have an EMP effect!

    Thanks again,
