Ok... Weird glitch. I was at Rank D+... Then when i ranked up, I became D... then I ranked up again just now and i became D+ again.
I know i got to rank D+ before... And I was surprised that after I had completed enough missions to rank up (right after a game over, during the results page) and instead of ranking up I went back to Rank D. Then i just kept on playing and eventually ranked up with completing enough missions again to Rank D+ the second time around. Then I went to Store>Profile and I saw that i was indeed rank D+ again.
I'm all for new levels, but I'd like for them to be not so random. This can throw off people looking to perfect a run on a certain level. They should be select-able levels and not random levels, since the game does change the further you travel anyways.
Yeah dude...I'm pretty much done b*tching about freemium (well, I might make a comment or two occasionally) after the whole Star Marine debate, so I'm focusing on better game experiences overall...at least as much as I can. I also read through the grassroots thread and that kinda helped me mellow out a bit. What can you do? But yeah, random levels seems like a bad idea to me!
These are just two different things: In version 1.1, we will update our game with random environment to improve gameplay. Next version(maybe v1.2), a new world will be added, you can select either world. And Levels at new world are random as well.
I see random environments as a hindrance in trying to perfect a run. The game changes the further you progress into it anyways, so I don't see the big deal in trying to change things every time you start a new run. You get better, you buy new stuff, and then you make it out further out to get see new stuff. The only time I really want to see new stuff in an endless runner is when I'm able to progress further or I select a different level if offered. Maybe I'm not understanding this correctly, but as of now I think random environments mess up the endless dynamic. Edit Make a new mode that's harder and incorporates random environments.
LOL yeah, i remembered being the one who reported it too. Hahaha! When v1.0.1 comes out it will be a grandiose day!
Are you guys ever going to balance the amount of coins you get with the absurdly high ticket price for the items? Or are you just going to continue to keep them so high that it is essentially forcing us to buy via IAP?
At 2000M+ coins are all gold. Im averaging 1000 coins per run but sometimes get careless or unlucky and get only400+ but there are times i get lucky and get coins just below 2000. I guess i am ok with grinding, as i do most games anyway.
honestly, if you put at least an hour into playing and knew how to play as well as which power-ups to purchase, gear doesn't cost that much.. I think anyone here who has been playing can tell you that. So yeah, they are forcing you to play for higher gear, and the IAPs are there for the impatient. Most of the low level items can be obtained in no more than 30 min if you know what you're doing. EDIT: forgot to say, they already mentioned they are adding some type of room for extra coins, just for you.
I just managed to break 500 coins in one run without powerups for the first time, got lucky with a heart at the beginning and stayed in bat form most of the time. Guess I should stick to that strat it's a lot easier to get much further.
If you can average at least 250 without powerups, start using the coinx2 powerup. with your current average, you should be able to get 500 minus the 200 for the coinx2 powerup which should net you a better gain. And of course, better runs = faster money.
