On console, it was super unintuitive. Good game, but really perplexing choices of sticks and buttons to actually get things done. The interface was sometimes hard to read on PS4, really hard to read on Vita, and I'm seeing people asking about an iPhone version and buddy... I'll probably buy this again as it's pretty cheap and easier to play on the train than finding my Vita out. It is great, just those interface issues which will need to be different on a purely touchscreen device. Different better, or different worse... well I'll find out soon enough I guess. Bunion Well-Known Member Apr 28, 2011 62 0 0 #8 Bunion, Aug 24, 2017 To all the people wondering why there isn't an iPhone version, how many times have we seen studios get hated for releasing an iPhone version of an iPad app that has a crammed interface. Sometimes it's just not viable. xtrgrvyplz Well-Known Member Jul 15, 2012 166 0 16 #9 xtrgrvyplz, Aug 24, 2017 But you cant blame people to still wonder about the iphone version especially if its really a good game Its just the frustration of not being able to get on the hype train Bunion Well-Known Member Apr 28, 2011 62 0 0 #10 Bunion, Aug 24, 2017 Oh of course, I completely understand. I'm in that camp too, i'd love it on the phone. I guess I was just trying to see it from both sides and trying to understand why devs sometimes don't decide to release on iPhone. grenadedodger Well-Known Member Jul 6, 2010 653 0 0 Manchester, UK #11 grenadedodger, Aug 24, 2017 I imagine we see that a lot less than people bemoaning the lack of an iPhone version. anthony78 Well-Known Member Nov 13, 2015 3,126 703 113 #12 anthony78, Aug 24, 2017 To be fair, there HAVE been a lot of iPad games that got iPhone support later so I dont think its out of the realm of possibility. Honestly think this is more realistic than some other games where they crammed tiny, tiny things that require precision. xtrgrvyplz Well-Known Member Jul 15, 2012 166 0 16 #13 xtrgrvyplz, Aug 24, 2017 To be honest i would even understand if the upcoming game iron marines will be on ipad only But this is just a turn based game lol grenadedodger Well-Known Member Jul 6, 2010 653 0 0 Manchester, UK #14 grenadedodger, Aug 24, 2017 Oh I completely agree, I quite happily play Planescape Torment on my phone, and that is "live" not turn based and super busy on screen. Anyway, the devs will do what they want, I for one will be enjoying this on the iPad later and hoping for a phone release down the line. Not to prove a point, just because I really like this game (already a fair few hours in on PC). If they make a phone version, I'll buy it again even if they raise the price to $10. estek New Member Feb 20, 2013 1 0 1 #18 estek, Aug 24, 2017 Can someone comment on the interface pls? I have it on PS4/Vita and the interface is really cumbersome.
