My main concern is that it gets on MB's radar and gets brutally taken down. I've been definitely having a great time playing it. I was in the prison level today, but got massacred by the end-of-level boss. Have to rethink my approach there Has this gotten the proper treatment by TA and PocketTactics? Still, 1200 people playing it, for a game that's 3 days old, it's not really bad
Quick response from the developer. Testflight update worked fine. Got a crash at the end on the first level with the barbarian dead, wizard and dwarf alive and the wizard was the last person to leave the map. Awsome game keep it up, with a few tweaks this game will never leave my Ipad.
Yeah, but believe it or not, there are just as many people who don't even have a Gamecenter account that buy game apps all the time. I know quite a few people that buy games regularly that don't bother with Gamecenter... I'm not debating that this game is or isn't selling like hotcakes mind you, merely that Gamecenter, while handy, is not a accurate way to determine an apps sales numbers, given the variables of multiple devices for the same apple account with different GC account, and the many, many gamers who don't bother with GC entirely among other things to consider...
Well, I'll join in the fun next time I add money to my iTunes account. i currently have about 8 bucks, but I have a pretty strict rule that I won't make any purchases when my balance is below 10 bucks. This way, I won't kick myself for missing a Deal of the YearTM, like a heavy duty app like Auria dropping on price for a day from 50 to 5 bucks .
To clarify; the HD version is apparently on sale today only (Wednesday 4/24/13) for $.99; but the non- HD version is off the launch price of $.99 and up to $1.99 now.
I agree, i've got a LOT of games and i regularly dont bother with gamecenter at all, not interested in it. I wouldnt use the number of gamecenter people as a reflection of total sales
I think that's one of the rare times that the HD version of a game ends up cheaper than the SD. I bit at a buck, I do have some regrets about not getting the iPhone version, but I almost always have my iPad with me so, meh.
I do everything on my iPad now; it rarely leaves me. I don't think I really use my iPhone for anything besides texting and phone calls anymore; and have been thinking of canceling my plan and using a cheap phone instead.
Won't it be great if the iPad could make calls and text as well? Other than the pocketability, my iPhone has nothing going for it that my iPad does not. Here is to hoping that iPhone Math, the big iPhone, materialises and we can ditch iPhones and iPads to carry one device again. Of course, it will probably mean another resolution and aspect ratio change, so more maintainance coding for the developers...
You might be barking up the wrong tree if you are looking at Dark Quest HD for a campaign RPG. It is more of a boardgame simulator with RPG mechanics like Heroquest or Space Crusade...
It does have a campaign, but it is relatively short for the time being. Some people claim to have finished it in 3-4 hours, I believe, but looking though the topic will provide a more precise answer on that. Overall it's a fun game, precisely like Hero Quest.
Well, just finished it today - to be honest, hadn't been playing much recently. It is quite a fun game, I guess, though it would benefit from a few more dungeons or quests. It is, indeed, relatively short. Still, well worth whatever you pay for it. If only we'd get an Elf Ranger now, and a few more quests... now we're talking
