From what I've just played the items are one use for that level/dungeon, if you buy the extra movement boots (only 50gold so cheap enough) you get the extra 5moves each turn. So I don't think it's as bad as people are thinking. This was already a game where you got tons of gold. (Still better off with warhammer quest though ) But still I don't think it's going freemium don't quote me on that though.
What's happened to this game? Keeps on crashing now as well for me. Is the dev active here or anywhere?
OMG. Which Elder Signs game did this member diss? I have the TBS (Wasted Lands), the boardgame (Arkam Asylum iirc), even Necronomicon Redux with the somewhat lousy iapp expansion...and, imo, they're all great. Specially the boardgame.
There's only one Elder Sign game on iOS, that being the fantastic (and recently updated) Elder Sign: Omens. You're talking about other Lovecraft/Cthulhu Mythos-themed games, which I don't think I've ever seen anybody refer to in general as "Elder Signs" games. If you don't already have Elder Sign: Omens, though, you need to rectify that right now. The boardgame you're talking about is Arkham Horror, incidentally; while there is an Arkham Asylum in Lovecraft's city of Arkham, Massachusetts, you may just have Batman on the brain. ^_-

Hi Gyes I wanted to drop you an update on dark quest 2. We are currently working on getting a kickstarter end of the month, if you have any questions please let me know Thanks!
Please tell me you got rid of rolling the skull of fate. I stopped playing because of that game mechanic.
hey geminey, the skull of fate got a bit of an overhaul if you notice in the second scene there is a white skull in the room, that is the skull of fate and activates only when you touch it. Its no longer random At the moment it will do 1 of the 3 things(chosen randomly) 1. Kill a random monster in the room 2. Heal you for 2 points 3. Damage you for 1 point
I think I see what he's talking about. It's not so much the animation itself as it is the speed. It's very fast, which makes it look kinda silly. I'm assuming you're doing that so movement doesn't slow down the game's pace. It would be more complex, but my suggestion would be to have them walk at a slower/normal speed when it's only 1-2 squares of movement, but use a run animation if it's more squares. That would look more natural and still keep the pace up for long moves.
