Nope. But that's irrelevant: there have been plenty of games I've beta tested that I thoroughly disliked. I'm not trying to pick fights here. I simply think that our understanding of what constitutes good game design is pretty different. And that has little to do with pretty graphics. BTW, when I have a real conflict of interest I'll let you know. (That's why I rarely comment on anything by Crescent Moon.)
There ya go Eli, and don't forget your giving up sarcasm as well! Anyway, I take your reviews for what they are, an opinion. Sometimes I agree and sometimes as in the case of shadow gun I don't. Either way I enjoy your reviews, and I know the points you bring up are always valid, it's that I don't always see the points as important as you do. Anyway, I am picking this up tonight based on squares opinion, and will enjoy the review tomorrow.
Phosphor Games here- exciting to see all these impressions! We are big fans of the Touch Arcade community, so this response is amazing to see on our first iOS game! We finally started a developer diary if anyone wants to check it out here is a cool thing for anyone to try: If you build your character with a focus on ranged and defense skills, you can beat the entire game with just using the crossbow no sword required. We really wanted to let players chose what skills they want to use to win the game. You can check out more on this here: http://www.phosphorgames.com/diaries/darkMeadowCrossbow.php
It be good. If you want a deep story and a pretty immersive experience (for the most part) then this is the game for you.

Any quick first impressions from the new batch of US App Store-goers? Even just a simple "Holy crap it's awesome" or "Need to spend a bit more time with it".
