And tbh, infinity blade does the fighting a bit better with parrying, magic and different colored lines when you swipe, depending on the sword you're using. Also, the enemies fight a lot faster with less delays between their attacks, making killing an enemy not take infinitely long (see what I did there? ).
No question: IB does the fighting bit better. But the again, that's all there is to IB. In Dark Meadow, combat is an obstacle between you and the rest of the story.
I'm enjoying combat greatly in DM, I thought I would not enjoy the pop up after combat but it's not bad. So far great game. Hopefully I can place this with dead space as best story driven games. I just beat the witch on first floor... Anyone know how much of game is left?
You do the exact same thing, follow the white light over and over until you defeat, then the old man complains about how he loves you etc and your betraying him etc.
For me IB was about combat with not much storyline to keep me interested, with DM the storyline and atmosphere seems the main focus which makes me want to continue playing.
hmm, can someone sort this out for me! Spoiler i killed the 3 forms of the old man, then he gave me a choice to stab him, or the girl, and i chose to stab him, then he put me to sleep and i start all over again! i hope that is not the ending (meaning there is no ending)
Spoiler Hi.This is one ending of the game. You will get an achievement for it too and for all the three endings. The second ending is with the girl, and the third is when you fall into the pit.
Also saw all three endings.. although it's more like 2 and a half But I'm very satisfied now. Great game!
I'm having the same issue with the DDRLL combo. What I did notice, most of the time I seem to get a diagonal swipe even though I'm doing the swipes as straight as possible. I also tried DDLRR and still no combo. So not sure if there is an issue with the combo, or if the swipe is too sensitive and ends up going diagonal when it should be a straight movement.
Missing Library Items I've gone through the entire game (all three endings) and still am looking around for some missing entries from the "library" - (1, 13, 48, 53, 56, 57). I've gone through all the rooms on the first floor twice and there is nothing there. Am I too far through the game for these to show up?
No you are not too far- at the end all books should be available (books are added to the world, not subtracted or swapped)
just beat the game. Great game! Great story! It actually has only 2 endings not 3, the third one doesn't count because it resent you back to the beginning (should count as wrong choice). thanks to bring us this great game and look forward for any expansion and updates.
