Played it for a day, went to 3rd floor (17th in achievement). Good game impressive! Only complains: 1) gem is way too small on iPhone to discover, I need to played it on my iPad. 2) save game sync up on iCloud, so my saved game of my iPad can sync up with my iPhone. 3) why there no check(save) point on each floor, why everytime I quit the game I will be resent to floor 1 room 1, that's insance!
First of all, great great game with a few peeves. I did not know where the hell I was going for two whole days, reading this thread saved me from deleting the game out of frustration. Maybe we can have that map link on the website built into the game or something? For people like me who were going in circles for two days!!! Also, no save points? I like the suggestion of having optional save points in the rest rooms... As far as the storyline, I haven't been reading the notes as I get them because I suck at piecing evidence together. Is there any option when you collect all the notes to read them as a book? Or do I have to draw a (mental) map out placing all the character names mentioned so I understand what's going on?
Once you pick up a few, they are arranged in a certain order and reading them in that order makes it a little easier to piece together.
Survival Horror Version of Infinity Blade, no exaggeration. It plays exactly like IB, surprisingly no one is suing anyone
>>Maybe we can have that map link on the website built into the game or something?<< we are working on getting a proper Map to work in the game In the meantime, look for a glow down the hallway to point you in the direction of witch / staircase- if you don't see a glow down the hallway, you are getting further away from it.
@Phosphor_chip Bought this game on my german account on whom I have credit the first day it came out.The games campaign is very well thought,I like the music/sound (fits well while playing with headsets) at night,it gets you more into the game.Story is short for me (finished it in 1.5h),but the amazing graphics, atmosphere, gameplay meets my requirements for a good game. You at Phosphor Games made an amazing game, and I will support your work by buying your upcoming games Story line : 4/5 Sound : 5/5 Gameplay : 5/5 Graphics : 5/5 Atmosphere : 5/5 Total : 4.8/5
Yes I did.Maybe it was 2 hours, but that's the time.I played both endings BTW too. Started the campaign at 3 a.m and finished the game at ~4:30-5 a.m
Are you sure it was the same night? There are three endings, btw. And I still don't believe you... Unless you bought the coins and bought the best weapons, then yes, the whole thing would be a breeze with 0 exploration and piss easy fights.
That may well be true, but I think you lose a lot of the ambience of the game by just rushing through. Games like this aren't about seeing how fast you can get through it, it's about savouring the atmosphere and story, and I think the pacing in this game is quite well done. I've got no idea how long I've played for; what matters to me is experiencing the game. I don't care whether a game is an hour long or 100 hours long, it's how you approach the game and what you experience from it that's important... ...a bit like real life then...
I agree. You seem to be missing the point of the game entirely if you are trying to complete it as fast as possible. Unless there is an achievement related to speed of completion, I don't see the point of playing a game like this unless you're going to savour it.
What happens to our stuff if we "start new game"? I've already beaten the game with all 3 endings, have a fairly maxed out character at level 40 with 2 of the strongest weapons - I would love to start over at the end of a game instead of "continuing" (eventually, if you run through the game enough times, the voiceovers run out and there's just dead silence as you run through the sunny rooms collecting gold), but I'm horrified that if I "start new game" I will lose *everything*, instead of how it is in Infinity Blade where you can start over at the 1st bloodline but WITH all your gold / weapons (to relive the battles underground before getting to the zero mech, for example). Has anyone done this in Dark Meadow - and did you in fact lose EVERYTHING? Otherwise I'm just going to have to continue over and over at the last run-through.
Spoiler Alert: Am I the first to discover the portal from the courtyard on level one that transports you directly to level 17? Definitely takes some of the sting out of having to start again in room one each time you die.
