Finished the game last night with zero walk through! Loved the experience, what a fantastic little game. Kept me interested until the very end and the fights are really well tuned and tense when you need to hit perfects to bring down a boss. Great game!

Played for a while last night and saved my game at the end.

Loaded the app up today and loaded my save game and I see the status bar showing Score at the top, but the entire screen is black below it. I still hear the music. Tried rebooting phone, hard quiting app, etc. Anyone else experiencing anything like this? I'm on an iPhone 6S Plus.

Edit: Weird, it's working now.

That is odd. If that sort if thing happens just shut down all background apps, free up some space and try again. It might be a resource related issue.

 

Really enjoying the mix of combat and puzzling solve as well as the retro feel. I grew up playing Kings Quest which was strictly puzzle-solving....are there any cool DOS games available at GOG.com that have this mix of adventure/puzzle solving and combat?

 

Try Quest For Glory by Sierra Online. That's as close as I can think of. Being honest I developed this game because there's not much out there like this. I wanted to create something I would love to play myself.

I think I prefer the 1st person view of Dark Fear though.

 

I appreciate you saying that. If this game is a success then I'd love to develop a bigger, better bad-ass sequel! I just wish this game could get more publicity somehow :/

 

Broke down in bought it. I previously bought aggent a and it was my first purchase of the genre and loved it. Bought this in hopes it would be similar and in fact it is. Great purchase 2/2 for this genre.
I downloaded lost city as well and hopes to get his kind of experience .
I really like hoot movies and this game seemed in the class.
So far I'm 25% into the game and really like it.
