Very clever, dev. Looks like it's still active as of this post if anyone wants it. Figures I would buy the game hours before a promo code sits undisturbed for a lengthy period of time.

Well, you deserve my money anyway, so no regrets! Cheers to you.

lol, I would snatch this immediately, but I was too impatient to wait for a code ;)

btw, finally finished the tour. Jump #17 was tough!
and the reward? INJURY MODE!! That was an absolute blast! (sorry Dave)

    Behind you!
nice, I can't believe that code was just sitting there in plain sight and no one got it, thankfully for me, I looked at the thread at the right time, so now I get to enjoy this really fun looking game :)

Injury mode rocks! I just played a tour and Injury mode this afternoon. I can't upload my scores though because I've had too much practice.

By the way...that super high score up there is fake and I haven't been able to get AGON to remove it yet. Just ignore it for now.

Hands-down the most inventive and entertaining way to distribute a promo code I've ever seen! If only other developers/publishers were half as thoughtful about their contests and promotions. ;)

    Well done! :D

Thanks! A promo code is for "promoting" your app. Posting a list of twenty codes, as a lot of devs do, is making poor use of them. Doing it as I've been doing it generates more interest in the game and brings more people here to see what's going on. It also puts the dev in touch with the community (although I'm already involved in the TA community).

    And it's fun!

I'm curious...a few people have left reviews saying the game crashes so much it's unplayable. They are a very small minority but I'd like it to run for everybody.

Has anybody here experienced any major problems? If so, I'd like to know what device and OS you are using.

One guy even called me a d**k LOL. Why don't these idiots (the ones that mouth off like this) try writing our support rather than just freaking out (rhetorical question). Yes, I said idiots, sorry but if I paid for a game and it really ran that bad I would contact the dev and tell them about it, which I have actually done in the past.

Looking at other titles in the App Store, I see these types of reviews on every single one of them so I guess it isn't just me. But I'd still like to help out.

I know I gave up on Gangstar because it would freeze every time I played it unless I rebooted. I don't expect people to reboot every time they play, but every so often I need to for more intensive games (iPhone 3G).

Is anybody here playing this on a 1st gen device?

    U.K.
I tweeted yesterday about how wise it is to have a business plan that depends on hyper-hormonal teens with no grasp of the financial realities of the world. Of course that's not the case but sometimes you just wonder if all these short tempered reviews are sent in by the zit-cream brigade. :D ;) No disrespect or offense to anyone, I know some things are just part of life, my wife can be quite hormonal too! (God this must all sound awful to people without a solid sense of humor! :D)

I have a 1st gen ipod (yes, there are still a few of those around!!!!!!) and the game will occasionally quit after a jump but no biggy.

Just bought this and think it is fun after a ten minute go.
    My first thoughts are these:-
The loading times are slow, though I guess to be expected really.
I can't see much need for the angle yet. (I am only on jump three.)
The helicopter sound on jump three drowns out any of Dave's sayings.
The bike sound sometimes bugs out, and is none existant. ( I am playing on an iPhone 3G b.t.w.)
    Achievements, achievements, achievements.

Overall though I am pleased with my purchase so far.:)
    All the very best.
    Jmc.

*Edit. Ah, Jump four and I see the need for angle adjustment. ;)

If any are available, I'd love a code to test drive the app and do a mini-review on iTunes.

Also, regarding the crashes, I'm wondering if they could be resolved by a network reset. I had a similar problem, reset my iTouch and voila, no more reset. Anyway, that's my two cents worth...

Wow this game is racing up the charts! Even though a lot of people weren't too happy with the sale, it was definetly the right decision.

A lot of reviews say that they hav crashing problems. I have actually had a few crashes myself. It could be because my iPod is jailbroken?

    Here No More
    Hi,

I just wanted to comment on the crash issues.

I have a first gen Ipod Touch and it is jail broke, no crashes at all.

Load times are a bit slow but it is a first gen device too.

Have played for maybe a few hours total, not much by some standards but no crashes here.

    David

  19. Just bought this after putting it off for a few days, and I'm enjoying it quite a bit so far. It's pretty tricky getting the hang of it, but I'm having fun trying. :) I didn't notice particularly long loading times -- maybe two seconds tops. Probably longer on older devices though, but that's expected. Frame rate is perfect, graphics are good, sounds are excellent, gameplay is fun yet challenging. I haven't gotten past the rooftops stunt yet, but I'll get there.

Great game so far, easily worth the sale price and then some.

    15 seconds average on a 3G.

Up to the castle jump now and still loving it.
I have reviewed and then re-reviewed on iTunes. *****
(First time I was a bit critical so changed my original one.
