    schplurg,
I have been following since you first announced the game. I downloaded as soon as it was out. This game is as great as I hoped it would be. You did a great job. Thanks for making this game and congrats on making the Apple list. Left my review on I tunes (sleb22) just after I bought and played it.

Thank you and thank you! TA rocks!

BTW, this is the only forum I hang out in. I've posted news in other forums around the web but TA is my home. This is by far the best community for iDevice stuff.

You guys made me go out and buy this. Gotta admit, it's pretty good! I do think it's a little rough in spots. I certainly hope we'll see continued development on it. While I would disagree that it is on the same level as Angry Birds, there's definitely a good start here.

One odd thing: The ramp angle would reset for me after every attempt (both practice and tour) on one of the challenges (I think it was castle chaos, but it might have been the one with the loop).

Suggestion: While I'd like to be able to go directly to practice for a new event, could we at least set the practice up so it defaults to the latest event unlocked rather than the first? Particularly given the clumsiness of the scrolling in the practice mode, it's tedious to get to the event I want (usually the current one in tour mode).

Please also allow the screen to pan a bit further to the right, so that I can still see the entire play area when zooming in.

I'd also like to be able to see the trajectory and landing point of my most recent attempt while in practice mode.

I will look into all of those! I knew there had to some issues with the game ;)

I like the last idea in particular. Also, about zooming into the landing area...on a few jumps, if I let players pan too far right it will reveal the "outside of the level" if players zoomed back out from there, if that makes sense. More of a graphic annoyance than anything else, but I will definitely look into it.

Can you explain this a bit more: "While I'd like to be able to go directly to practice for a new event"? You mean where the popup message says "You've unlocked a new jump" and having a yes/no button that would take you there? I'm just not sure where in the game you think this should be.

    Thanks for the critique!

    Edit:
I wish the guy who left the review about the game crashing would email me about it. He's asking for help and I'd be glad to but I have no way of contacting him. Hopefully he will read this :(

Anyone know who EvilKS is? Long shot, I know.

I would like the ability to create my own Levels. :p

That would definitely be awesome! I actually thought of doing that early on, at least being able to place objects wherever you wanted, like helicopters, buses, flamethrowers. I'll have to think about that again.

The up-close cam is close enough for the crash. I hadn't seen that before. Missed it earlier when looking for it. But it's too close for the jump.

The problem with the close camera is you don't know how close you are to making the jump or not. Think about when going over the helicopters. It's awesome in the wide angle to see that you might or might not make it (it builds tension thinking you might not make it).

If there were a way to stay wide for the jump (to see what's happening) but then zoom in or cut to the closer angle for the crash that would the the best!

    Loving the game.

Yes that would be possible and is a fantastic idea!!! I'll add it to my "to do" list! Thanks!

Yes, that would be great (if you had a choice to either head directly to practicing that stage or to the event itself). However, it really wouldn't be a big deal to just go to the practice menu, except that you then have to swipe all the way over to the current jump, hence the suggestion of having practice mode default to the latest jump rather than jump #1.

You know, all this talk of practicing made me think it might be fun to have a hardcore leaderboard where practicing isn't allowed. Of course, to make it worthwhile, there'd have to be significant variation in a jump from tour to tour (otherwise you could just write down your settings or something).

I completely agree with this.. It takes a long time to complete a level and then go to practice the next level then complete the next level. You should make it easier to go from one to the next, especially when you go to practice mode and you have to scroll over 15 levels before the one you want to practice. Also I would love to see a whole list of achievements put into this game.. like hurting different body parts, and completing certain lengths and jumps

Interesting ideas. I got so used to playing it that I didn't realize how often players might want to go to Practice mode in between jumps.

When I started making the game I envisioned a smaller game with less features. For instance, the Injury Tour was created in the final weeks. Originally, Injury Mode was what is now Practice. As I started adding things I realized the whole game had changed. As a consequence, some details slipped through the cracks.

I really appreciate all of the tips!

    Hi,

It would be a shame to hold a one day sale against you but I am sure a few people will comment on it.

Btw, you are up to #37 on the paid apps list, beating Zombie Infection even, at least on my Ipod, congrats.

Looks like you have a successful game here, definitely a fun one.

    David
