As awesome as Daredevil Dave looks, it doesn't look good at all blown up. Just the nature of the graphics, which I love - It's no knock against the graphics - Some games just don't look good blown up ...actually, let me rephrase that - MOST GAMES don't look good blown up. I am playing mostly HD games right now, because they not only look great, but the gameplay is perfect. I would love an HD version - Could it be as easy as exporting a build with higher res native graphics? Unfortunately, I am not sure how a lot of the devs are doing it when they come out with an exact - universal build.
well some apps its a vector artwork, so they can replace it with better art. in a 3D-ish game like this, you have to litterly up-res everything. it is a lot easier to downgrade then to upgrade
I could use the same textures for the most part. In DD they are compressed, but in the iPad version I may be able to use them uncompressed and get away with it. I honestly haven't looked into it yet. The menus would need a rework though. After reading this, I'm not sure I want to see the pics blown up now, but thanks anyways!
I just finished the tour mode and it was alot of fun, i was actually shocked in the amount of variability between the jumps, and there is alot of humor in the game. I would definately recomend this game, now im gonna go see how big of a hospital bill i can rack up!
I like Injury Mode even better! If you want to leave an iTunes review I wouldn't complain I tried for a wide variety of jumps and settings, way more than I envisioned during early development. I have so many ideas.

I'm on the edge too. What could influence me? A lite version? Or a launch sale? (although that latter one would probably piss some people off that already bought it)
Is there anyway to have an option for the camera to get in closer to Dave's crashes? I love Stair Dismount cause you can get close to the action. I'd love to be closer to the crashes and watch them in all their glory...cause we all know we play this game for the crashes, not the jumps!
Ya well at first that bothered me, but they don't say anything bad really in the actual review to explain the score. Doesn't matter to me, it's just one site. I think TouchArcade needs to do a review There are 3 different cameras, one far (default), one up close, and one on the bike. I could add more in an update. Do you think the up-close cam isn't close enough?
If you like Stair Dismount you will definitely love DD. Stair Dismount with motorcycles, sharks, fire, helicopter blades, 1000 foot canyon drops, explosions.....uh, ya!
