Well, Foxbat (dev) has now comeout with Danmaku 2 which this time is universal (though not ipad retina), and continues the Danmaku shmup name (Danmaku means bullet hell). Though I liked the pace and music better on the original game, the second version has great icade joystick gameplay which makes the game really shine. One thing the developer did for us is to add transparency settings for the rewards, in the pause setting menu, set the transparency to about 50% or so. Works well with an icade joystick too!
