I like the way you can get a birds-eye view of the battlefield, and the different strategy's in this are gonna be awesome!
Just watched the video. Gameplay looks smooth, and the top-down map seems useful. Any estimated date yet for when alpha-testers are selected and testing begins?
We are hoping to get a shortlist for the alpha testers done by the 1st of Nov, so if you haven't signed up yet I suggest you do! We will try to send out emails to the selected testers late next week. We still have a few more features that we want to get in there for Alpha - Online rankings, Friend management from in game, some game mode tweaks and a bunch of other stuff. So we're going to be flat out until then!
Sweet just got an email sayin i eas selected if you are selected for alpha will u automatically get to beta test or will u reselect?
Ok, seems that the have started sending out emails and I did not make the list. I was really hoping fore the chance to test this game!
Sorry to everyone who didn't make the Alpha Tester list - we had a massive number of applicants and only a very few spots to fill. We'll be taking on a lot more people during Beta though so keep posted for when that happens.
To be honest, we haven't decided how we'll select Beta testers, but most likely you'll make it through to the Beta if you're an active Alpha Tester.
