What's the best weapon for killing slimes? Seems I have weapons that are appropriate for many types, but none of them seem to have slime killing skills.

To all fellow jailbreakers, you cannot purchase in game if you are jailbroken, you will need something like tsProtector 8+ to bypass this. I think the devs did that to avoid people pirating their in-app purchases, so please do not pirate them and only use taProtector if you really intend to BUY.
Merchant? When the Sikh dude showed up I opted for implementing the dungeon merchant. I kind of regret this now. He's a real pain in the ass. He almost always asks for more than I have and when I don't have enough he stops me from doing a perfect path. I also hit him accidentally a couple of times with the whip, automatically from two squares away. This of course results in him killing me. Has anyone been able to kill him? Or do anything else, like stopping him from appearing? I noticed he has to recast his barrierspell and is unprotected for a short while. But, he has more HP than what I am able to deal damage, at the moment at least.
Whats the matter lickzy ? I played the game for 5 hours straight today, figured id buy an in-app purchase to show support and ended up with a weird error message, I figured what was causing it and decided to share the information if others with jailbroken devices like me wanted to support the devs. I dont see the problem here.

Bumping my own question. So, did anybody choose not to have the Merchant appear? Not that I can go back and choose differently. Just wondering.
Do you mean the slimes that only take 1 hp from every hit, like gold slimes? Weapons with high accuracy help quite a bit. High critical also, since criticals bypass defense and can usually kill them instantly. I've been using a fully upgraded fly swatter and it works wonders on them. Another method is to use spells or items. Bug spray has very high accuracy, is cheap, and works on enemies to always deal 1 hp. The Ice-All scroll works too. You'll still have to trace your path on the frozen tiles though, or it counts against you for a perfect floor.
