Coming back from the store with my missing 90 cents and downloading while i write this... Welcome Dev! And great to hear this awesome news about the inverting controls option.
But if you're here that must mean be you're more used to gaming on the iPad so I don't know. Depends on where you're most comfortable with, but if that is even, then I'd recommend the Switch! Because it gives you more options to play at the get-go without more accessories, and HD Rumble.
Ok great cheers for that but I think the question I meant to ask really was do you think that the game controls better with touch or physical controls, or in your opinion are they much of a muchness. I tend to use my iPad more for casual stuff and the switch for the more traditional experience, and indeed any kind of platforming where possible, but given that this isnt a traditional platformer I wondered if Id enjoy it just as much with touch as physical. Does that make sense?
From my experience that varies from person to person, even we inside the studio have arguments about it. The thing is that iPad pretty much limits you to one of them.
Man I cant even come close to beating that boss. I guess technically its the second boss. At best Ive been able to get his health down about 1/5th (not much lol) I think theres too much going on and the natural feeling that the controls are reversed I keep shooting when I mean to move and vice versa. Plus you got these red balls flying all over and these hands comin in and smashing at you and little moving lightning things when they smash and then staff enemies that pop in on top of accidentally flinging and attaching on to the enemy itself . lol
Even with these "wrong" inverted controls, this plays like heaven, already. I'm totally hooked and i can easily recommend this (well deserved) 5 star game to anyone who likes this genre. Congrats Devs and good luck!
Quality costs money. It’s not that expensive. I’m sure you paid a lot for your phone ! Not every game is 99c. You also complained when Inside was $10 ! If we want high end games they cost money
i was in need of a metroidvania... i got a metroidvania and a beautiful one! great job on this, devs.
It's available on Apple TV, and I think when I preordered it, it said a controller is required. I'm actually playing it on my phone though. Anyone know of the Colossal Bridge is the beginning of a larger journey or the beginning of the final portion of the game? If the latter, damn this game is short.
Pretty sure it's this. I've crossed it and there's more on the other side so far than on the first side. Get ready to die a whole lot after you cross.
I finally beat M. Bison. Holy hell im afraid to see what other bosses this game has . I hope theres more then 2 big bosses cause Im sorry for the spoiler but theyve only hinted at 1 more to return peace to the land.
OK Im stuck. If I go right, Im trapped in a room with a wheel that has 4 arms coming off it. I assume there has to be a way to turn it. If I go up, I zip around aimlessly and get trapped by brick walls or platforms I cant reach. My guess is that there is another power I need to find. If this makes any sence, please let me know haha.
