I'm as surprised as anyone that Blockbuster as an entity still exists. Admittedly, they could go under completely at any time. However, as long as they are still around, they just went to daily rates on everything. Most significantly, the games. 1.99 a day for new releases. 0.99c a day on everything else. That's the same price as Redbox. The difference is that Redbox offers a very limited selection of games. Blockbuster has everything. Like Crysis 2 or the 360 version of LA Noire, which you can now rent for 1.99 at Blockbuster, but you still can't get from Redbox. However, you still need a credit card. My friend buys used games at Gamestop that he has no intent of keeping and returns them for a full refund, effectively renting games for free. He has done this dozens of times. My friend is a douche. For everyone else, this is a solid deal.
