Sounds great. I'm glad it's an RPG based game rather than having linear missions. The graphics look very good too.
Now that's a good looking game. Nice to see other devs stepping up their graphics =) I was just thinking...I'd love to see a game like Parasite Eve on the iDevices. THis looks to be in that vein...please tell me I'm right?
Doesn't this look like Revolt? I could be wrong, I suppose. I haven't followed that closely, but it looks remarkably similar to me.
It doesn't to me because last time I checked Revolt didn't have any zombies and it was a dual stick shooter. This doesn't seem to be one
I think Gamelab just added the screenshot recently. It doesn't look like a dual-stick shooter anymore.
I was referring to the 1st screenshot, but the second image now proves my point. What I find interesting though is that the game is offering different viewing angles for gameplay. So it seems that depending on where you are in the game you can either have a top down or 3rd person perspective!
True, but that can be disputed since Revolt does have a few RPG elements that GameLab have confirmed to be in this title as well.(Upgradeable weapons and armor)
It's a matter of emphasis. Revolt is a shooter with RPG elements. According to the description, DARK is an action/SF RPG. I expect that gameplay will vary accordingly.
Well, the screenshots don't appear to appeal to those in the RPG genre to me. In fact the game actually seems like a cross between N.O.V.A and Zombie Infection. Which both, in fact, happen to be shooters. If they are going to market the game as an RPG at least include some RPG elements in the promotional screenshot to get people interested.
It's strange that the iPhone 4 and iPhone 3G screenshots seem almost like two completely different games. Interesting...
