This game is a steal at .99$ There is a single player. With no timer, and no internet connection required. There is multiplayer ( I am not sure if this real time) This game is amazing. And I am not promoting this game on behalf of creative mobile. I am promoting it because I have hope in mobile gaming. Fantastic! For some reason I cannot find it in the TA app to add it to my wishlist. anthony78 Well-Known Member Nov 13, 2015 3,125 703 113 #4 anthony78, Nov 5, 2016 Last edited: Nov 5, 2016 Sounds great but that $.99 price tag makes me very skeptical of the quality. But might give it a shot. BTW, this is F2P with a ton of IAPs on Android so hmmm.... Downloading now but concerned it may flip to F2P. fulcizombie Well-Known Member Dec 17, 2011 393 0 16 #5 fulcizombie, Nov 5, 2016 Bought it and......it is one of the biggest surprises I have encountered on the App Store . Don't let the price tag fool you, this is an AAA mobile racing game in everything. The graphics are top notch, the production values very high (cgi intro, real story and characters, great hub) and they have absolutely nailed the controls, the best mobile controls since nfs:no limits . First impressions are extremely positive . It looks good, the framerate is solid, and the controls are decent. Track design is good, too, though quite simple. The driving physics, however, are on the lame side. Perhaps I've been playing to much GearClub (which nails the physics), but the cars in this game seem to just stick to the road (no drifting or sliding) which makes turning feel quite unrealistic. Now, the car combat component makes up for the physics to a large extent -- it's just fun to lobby mortar shells at your opponents. But the time trial races are a drag. Overal I'm mixed, but I like the game enough to keep playing. ShelvsHotPencil Well-Known Member Jul 1, 2016 306 0 0 #8 ShelvsHotPencil, Nov 5, 2016 The physics complaint is justified. It's why I took the star away anthony78 Well-Known Member Nov 13, 2015 3,125 703 113 #9 anthony78, Nov 5, 2016 Game is fun but could use a better sense of speed. While the physics aren't perfect, this is an arcade racer so that doesn't bother me. My only concern is that there are all the makings of a F2P game here with the dual currencies, oil and such. Haven't played the Android version but as I mentioned, it is F2P with a lot of IAPs available (think all the way to $99.99). So that makes me fear that this could easily be flipped to freemium with everything in place....especially given the $.99 price point. Game seems balanced now so I hope I am wrong. At the moment, in its current state, it's an easy recommendation. As already stated, no internet needed (although there are elements which need it; junkyard and multiplayer). Yes there are multiple currencies, but it's generous and there are no timers. I can absolutely see it going ftp in the near future, but if I don't update it when it happens I can keep it exactly the way it is now. To anyone on the fence, well worth the money to enjoy as it is. coolpepper43 ð® Spam Police ð Aug 31, 2012 4,615 7 38 On the toilet #13 coolpepper43, Nov 6, 2016 Any boosters or consumables? Thanks Zineman Well-Known Member Jul 7, 2014 129 0 16 #14 Zineman, Nov 6, 2016 You can only buy parts to improve your car, or blueprints to new cars, all of which I'm pretty sure you can win in the normal course of racing. Another poster mentioned oil, but this is just to drop on the track to make your opponents lose control. As things stand I can't see any consumables and no boosters. As I said, I think this will change, as is the way with the current state of the market, but as it is now, it's well balanced. chief78 Well-Known Member Jul 24, 2012 2,317 7 38 #15 chief78, Nov 7, 2016 Last edited: Nov 7, 2016 Been following this since release and decided to jump on this before any changes are made. It's not bad at all, though mostly just a point A to point B carnage racer with all aspects towards arcade physics. My only complaint is the machine gun not working well for touch controls....really a big miss on that.
