Cyber Protocol is premium, has all the great maze swiping action of TotM, but turns it up to 11. There are Campaign and Arcade modes, leaderboards, awesome pixel art, cloud saves, and customization options and unlockables. I’ve been really enjoying this one. Saw it when it came out quite a while back on console but was actually waiting in hopes they’d release it on mobile one day. Glad that time has come. The retro visuals are awesome. The VHS effects, the music, it’s all spot-on. Nostalgia kicks in real hard. What I’m struggling with is the difficulty. I read in the app’s description about it’s being “the hardest game in history”, I just assumed the devs just exaggerated. Imagine my surprise realizing that description might be true. The gameplay is frantic, there’s no space for error. Luckily, restarting the level happens immediately on it’s own. And so far I’m failing exclusively because of my lack of skill. Which I’m willing to accept thanks to buttery smooth and responsive controls. Speaking about controls, are you guys keeping your thumb on the screen constantly or swiping instead? I’ll take as much advice as I can to improve. There’s no way I’m putting this game down anytime soon! metalcasket Moderator Staff Member Patreon Silver Patreon Gold Patreon Bronze May 24, 2010 11,065 1,342 113 Deepest Circle, Hel #11 metalcasket, Mar 11, 2023 Swiping for sure! I do that a lot. That way you can get an idea of what’s ahead without worrying about making split-second decisions. The blocks that appear right after you pass over them get me all the time! You’re not alone; I think it’s a tough game too, but in a good way. macplash likes this. Chq Well-Known Member Jul 20, 2013 446 61 28 #13 Chq, Mar 12, 2023 Last edited: Mar 12, 2023 Three things: 1. After changing the avatar, the already selected mission must be selected again. Feels like a bug to me. 2. Pausebutton is too small (iPad mini). 3. The view should be changed smooth automatical individually, so there should be no need to switch anything manually (also with four fingers). I would name it „autozoom“. Nevertheless a fantastic game!
