Hey kids! Do you like failure? Are you suspicious of success? Do you smile at the thought of "accidental" electrocution? Then boy have we got the game for you!

Introducing Cute Things Dying Violently, a game where nothing bad happens. CTDV is all about hapless Critters, and the Critters need your help! Launch them around to get them safely out of each level. Dodge all sorts of lethal goodies like spikes, buzzsaws, and fire, and use a variety of wacky items to pull it off. And if a few dozen (or hundred) of them get turned into charred, smoking husks in your attempt to save them... well, you know what they say about omelettes and broken eggs. Broken, bloody eggs.

    Featuring:
    •48 mind-bending, reflex-testing singleplayer levels
    •New Levels of the Week
    •24 Achievements
    •Built-in Level Editor
    •A murderous, bucket-headed robot

Gotta love that title! The description sounds cool too. I'll check this out when it hits tonight.

Posted a thread about a week ago when it came out. Not bad, at all, sorta like AB, but you just need to save one cute critter to move on. It'gets pretty brutal (gore wise) lol. Tap then hold, then shoot your critter to the door. Sounds easy, but get challenging later. Worth the price IMHO.

I found a video. The video is hilarious! I wonder how the controls translate. If anyone picks this up please post impressions or a gameplay video from an iOS device!

Listen carefully to what the little critters are saying...

So far this hasn't been too bad. The controls were a little awkward at first, but I'm getting used to it. I've only played the first 6 levels, but so far it's alright.

    5 stars!

Why? The controls are perfect. At least for me. You double tap the critter to lock it in place and then pull back the opposite direction you want the critter to go, just like you would in Angry birds. You can choose to have a trajectory assist on but you won't get a perfect score. I like the idea of the penalty. You can tell how charged the shot is by the color of the arrow that appears when you start to pull on the critter. You can also move each critter to where thou want to flick them by a single tap and drag.

The graphics are great. The way the critters are horribly slaughtered is great! Some levels require you to sacrifice a few so that the rest can be saved!

All hail the Flying Spaghetti Monster in the sky!

Get this game people! It's worth it. I definitely recommend it. Best dollar I've spent in a while. There's a good amount of levels and a level editor too! I'm emailing the dev to see if there are plans to allow everyone to share and download levels. This game needs more attention. It's polished too.

Yea, I'm starting to agree with you on this one. At first I wasn't getting the double tap controls. I was doing the two thumb controls and wasn't digging it at all. The more I play it, the more I'm really liking it. It's a lot deeper than I expected.

In finding that the little flingable creatures are too close to the bottom of the screen. This is making selecting them and flinging them very imprecise and frustrating for me.
