Ooh, that's really neat. I know people get concerned about privacy and stuff, but I feel like I would love this in most games. It should, in theory, drastically reduce the price of certain IAPs to the point where I might actually spend on them where I would just never spend or delete the game instead. Clever stuff.
If by clever you mean underhanded and ridiculous. Here is a novel idea: make a quality game that people want/like & they will buy it. Make IAPs that are worth something & people will buy them. It is absurd to accept the idea that they should analyze individual spending to decide how to get each person to spend. To each their own. Enjoy the game.
Finished game. All stars. No hint used. What a beautifully crafted physics puzzle game! Puzzles are much easier than those in previous games of the series, in large part because solutions are less dependent on critically timed moves and stars are not dependent on how fast the players are needed to solve the levels. Interesting that a few levels can be solved WITHOUT using all of the creature changes and/or environmental objects (ropes, boxes, etc.). Even though the puzzles are far more straightforward, I think the levels are better designed in this game and in previous CTR games. The level designs are more imaginative. Many of the levels are quite clever, requiring the players to chain multiples mechanics to work to solve the levels.
Glad you liked it Shy, may I call you Shy, it's easier than y2kmp3, Ha ha. I have started Cut the Rope 2 again didn't play the last two worlds they added, but the best in the series is Magic, I think it's now my all time fave IOS game.
Update out! Cool new icon as well. In case anyone is wondering.. this is probably the best CTR out there right now, and I've played them all. (Though to be honest I REALLY loved the original icon. It was beautiful. At least Zepto knows how to make nice looking icons.)
The new Icon looks so cute, I am melting, this is why I love IOS because of the cuteness of it all ha ha.
I'm curious why the average rating for this CTR is 2.5 here. What's the deal? This is definitely better than all the others imo and yet people scored it low?
The IAP for the new levels are there to save the world ha ha, I meam what's left of it, the world has gone to hell but with this IAP we are going to save it, so funny this, but the game is great.
Those new levels are better than the old ones, very good update to an allready great or even one of the best games on the Appstore.
I might have to reinstall (and start over since I backed up my save which can't be copied over with the new iOS ugh). I definitely think Magic is the best CTR game and by a large Margin.
I always love the games coming out of Zeptolab especially this series (with the exception of CTR: Experiments) and this is my favorite. It's so damn beautiful. The graphics are simply stunning and 'magical'. They recently launched a web version- Cut the Rope : Magic Online Great news for those who want to play it on their computers. I think its pretty much the same game but am not sure. Enjoy.
