Absolutely fantastic game. Comparisons with Angry Birds, not in the specific gameplay but in the genre, level format and virtually limitless possibilities for new content via updates (new boxes, obstacles, and why not new candies with different behavior and/or shape?) are quite accurate. I have to say though that I personally am enjoying Cut the Rope much more than Angry Birds. The gameplay and overall package just seem much more appealing to me.

I hadn't felt this good about a 99c game in a long time. I kind of dislike the word as it is thrown around pretty freely now, but I'll have to use it for this one: Cut the Rope is a real gem, and I think every iDevice gamer should check it out.

This game is fantastic! Great in every way: Art,Leveldesign,Animation,Physics. It's going to be #1 soon - no doubt.

The little monster inspired me to finally set my Touch Arcade profile picture.

There should be tears when the little creature cannot eat its candy. :p

    Hmm... looks superb.

I allow myself $5/week for apps. I have $1 left for this week. This game might be it.

Can't decide yet but it definitely look "sweet" (pun intended, sorry)!

Angry Birds (imho) is more on th luck side and how about this one?

I am definitely not the first (and will not be the last) to tell you that full retina display support is highly requested. Full job please, not just the high-res menu...

Hmmmmm... The character in this game reminds me suspiciously of Simon's Cat.
Check out the 0:23 mark in the "Cut The Rope" movie and then check out the 1:28 mark in the "Simon's Cat" movie.

Guys any help on Gift Box (last box) stage 24? the second last. 3 starred everything except that, that stage is harder than the very last stage!

Glad that the dev has replied me that the Retina Display has been considered. :)

This level seems crazy but its actually really easy.

    1) Swing left and get the star
    2) Join the bottom slider to candy and stretch it back. Move the sideways slider to the right really hard to get the 2nd star
    3) Move the far right slider to the top
    4) Cut the bottom rope
    5) Slide the horizontal slider to the left and the far right one to the bottom. Cut bottom bit.

    All done.

    Awesome :)

Bought after reading all the praises...at 99c it's really a no brainer.
    Really cute and addicting.
I'm liking it more than Angry Brids (I feel it's less random).

Even if not properly retina, it's looking damn good on iPhone 4.

    I LOVE THIS GAME!

It takes all my complaints about Angry Birds and nullifies them! It's a physics puzzler with constraints to keep the physics part of it from being TOO random! I played it every spare second I could and now I've beaten it with three stars on every level!

The only thing I'm missing is the "Master Finger" achievement. Does anybody know what I need to do to get that?

I'm eagerly awaiting more levels. More of the same would be fine, I haven't gotten tired of any of the mechanics from the first 4 worlds!

Absolutely stellar to see this getting excellent reviews from all the sites that I consider worthy.
