Crappy Crystal stuff ... BTW, Game center is bugged. I have "collect 150 stars" but not "collect 50 stars" ... I cut 3 and 5 ropes but I didn't get the stuff...
I love this game! Has a great variety in the puzzle gameplay. The game gradually increases in difficulty, and introduces new gameplay elements one by one. The levels get very difficult near the end. Overall great game, can't wait for new levels!
I would like a better way to see each of the level scores. Currently I have to choose the level in question then hit pause to find the high score of that level in the top right corner of the pause screen. I would like to see something like each level score being tucked right under each of the level icons that shows if you have three stars or not. Angry birds was very annoying that way too, but Cat Physics has an awesome interface.
After a very long time, a game on top of Angry Bird... I liked Angry Bird so much.. but this game is also awesome. The character is so funny...
Game Impressions This game is just great ! This is an interesting way to reuse the Fruit Ninja's "swipe to slice" !
Ha. I remember that being the first one I really got stuck on. Your path is along the top. Notice the fast timer on that star to your immediate right, so you need that one first. You need to snip the 10:00, 8:00 and 4:00 bands at once and make the candy swing around the 2:00 peg. If you then have momentum on the swing, it'll get that star and also get grabbed by the "zone" peg to the further right with the bug. Then you just need to make your way back around clockwise on the pegs to the star back below the green guy. You gotta be quick, as that has a timer, too.
The concept isn't really new. The idea of strategically cutting ropes to get an object into its intended receptacle started, I believe, with Obulis on the PPC platform several years ago. You didn't have to swipe to cut, but that's just mechanics. (I wish Obulis and its sequel would come to the iPhone. Really great games, though far too short.)
Cut the left rope, let it swing to the right. Catch the momentum coming back to the left and cut the rope again. You're aiming for the bubble. You'll catch the zone with the bugand it'll swing you around to all the stars.
You need momentum all through that first part, making sure to cut the previous rope before the bugs get you.
