Well I said Cut the Rope 2 is my game of the year not that it is the best game ever, I just loved the mechanic of the first game, I have played consoles for over 25 years and just got sick of always shooters and the same football game every year, IOS gaming is what I love now for the past 4 and a half years, and that's all there is too it. I am gonna play one level a day of Cut the Rope 2 so it will last me a couple of months.

  4. Yeah, cute the rope is a classic, one of the first games I bought on ios.

Love the special effects on the ipad 4, not sure if older devices have them like the particles and light flares, but alot of fun for sure.

Oh man that level is ridiculously brutal for the medal. I just let it rain candy I think and it gave me the medal. I spent quite a while on that with no luck.

Should have posted the stats for how many stars you have as well as how many medals, haha :p

Hey, which language is that? It's definitely neither French nor German... is it Dutch?

Remember that those people unlocked the final five levels in the world and mastered them.

I mean, you might have already known that, but I know I was extremely confused until I realized, "Oh yeah, I still have 5 levels I haven't unlocked yet! I'm sure that's why they all have significantly more points than me."

Got the medal this morning by pure luck. What I did was to let the helicopter go to the extreme right side before releasing the candy. Then wait for the rope to swing to as far left as it can go before cutting it. It'll need a few tries, but I got it in the end. 5600 on the dot.

On a side note though, what triggers those free gifts? I've finished the first world with all stars and medals but still haven't got that screen that gives the costume and power-ups for free?

Okay, thanks. Got the costume but no free power-ups. Can't get them clovers without the balloons.

  17. Played about 10 more levels, having a great time with this. Much funner to me than the previous games.

Hi, before I buy I just wanted some clarification on the IAPs. From this thread it sounds like they're not necessary for 100% completion. Apparently powerups are needed to get all secrets, but a free powerup of the player's choice is given every day? Also, I assume all boxes are unlocked free by completing the previous ones like in the other games?

This game is a lot of fun, will probaly consume a lot of my time over the winter break. But I'm not a big fan of the power up things needed to collect all of the clovers /: Because for the forest I completed every single level with 3 stars but only collected 2 clovers because I ran out of balloons ):. It's bothering me XD I would love to finish every single level before I move on first.

  20. Oceanhorn and cut the rope 2 are both good games, all this clone talk does so much disservice to them.

Yes, this game is good, would like to actually hear some remarks from you about the game, other than labeling games as clones.
