    Hello!

As we get closer to release, we are working on various time lines. I know it has varied greatly over the past year, so am curious what people's current experiences are in timelines for submittal to the app store?

    Many thanks.

  2. My last three submissions took:

    • 8 days
    • 8 days
    • 10 days
This was from submission to approval.

Although not my own submissions, a friend of mine had 2 apps in the last month approved in 6 and 9 days.

We experienced an 8 day turn around time with our game as well. I have a feeling it'll get longer when the Mac App store goes live though.

I guess we are lucky then. Our last few games have taken <7 days from submission to being on the App Store

My last update just got approved in 2 days. Haven't seen it this fast in a long time.

We just released last week and we got 8 days from submission to approval. And yes, that includes Saturday and Sunday. In fact, we got the approval on Sunday morning.

Are Game Center apps being given priority? Are the shorter times mentioned for GC enabled apps?

seems to be the case - can't wait to add it and get priority!

Expect 10 to be safe, then you can start your marketing efforts on a day you can expect to have the app ready to launch.

Not sure about the others, but our game doesn't use GC and we got 8 days. Seems to be the average these days too.

  17. Don't forget to take into account that possibility that your app gets rejected.

You can't be sure what your launch date will be until you have approval.

It's getting faster and faster for me, the last 2 updates were

    • 6 hours --> (an update that was adding Retina Display)
    • 2 days

    Extremely fast!
