LOL indeed. More like it's one of the least polished second to only strategic assault. That award would go to the settlers.
Play a gameloft game xD. WI has all the things to make it the rts that everyone is familiar with. But what's missing, alot of details that would enhance the game greatly, not to mention it's old graphics. Move attacking, a better thought out mining system, an actual difference in range between units? The list goes on. The car has a strong chasis, the emblazon is clearly missing though.
I say a game is 'polished ' if it reached a certain degree of 'perfection' .WI's SP AI is just not there, your units will be standing near an enemy structure and do nothing unless you click on them, pathfinding is a nightmare, and micromanagement is an chore due to the inability to group assign units. That said I still think the game is good I just don't agree that it is the most polished.
I was under the influence that polished meant well put together and greatly presented. I didn't think there were any problems with warfare inc. (btw, I actually liked the old graphics, at least it runs better than Red Alert)
If you've ever played a pc rts, you would know what polished meant. It does mean that bud, but WI does not fulfill those requisites.
I collected all the command and conquer games, I found Warfare Inc. very close to the original C&Cs and besides, I never played the single player on WI, I always play online.
Only reason I haven't already is because I don't particularly like old style RTS, I prefer tanks and infantry with guns.
