Regarding servers on the PC, I just realized that the only ones that work are the unranked servers. I've been playing a few games and I noticed that my stats weren't tracking, only my time spent in MP. With that said, the ranked servers that track stats simply will not start. There's no countdown and after 10 minutes or so it starts at 45 and then goes to 0, only to go back to 10 and loop continuously. Disappointed but hope they fix it, soon.

So I just beat the campaign and here are my thoughts. It's probably one of my favorite FPS campaigns to date, it's really fun and strategic. I finished it in around 7-8 hours and I took my time so I'm not sure where the 13 hours lenth was from, but it did feel really long. The story is a bit confusing and ending isn't all too spectacular but I loved every minute of it. Game ramps up about half way through and middle to end is intense. Btw, I recommend you get the nano recharge and decreased stealth drain because with both of them, you can virtually stay invisible forever. Really useful in late game.

I didn't understand what the point of the "see cloaked enemies better" perk was when I beat the game. The only cloaked things I saw were at the absolute end, and I just K-volted them so they couldn't move.

I like it better than all the other recent FPS ones (Reach, Black Ops, BC2)

There's a lot of options on how to approach situations, and none of it is overdone. The story is interesting as well.

uhh this game's campaign is awesome but the Multiplayer is a hot shit mess.. I loved both demo's of Crysis 2 with a PASSION and was amazing at it! Had a 2.4KD as a matter of fact. And then all excited as hell I pick up the game, hop in a match and get my ass kicked. Something feels changed and it's F*CKING PISSING ME OFF!!!

They changed weapon balance. Nanovision was overpowered so now it can't "see" for more than 50 meters. The Jackal is completely nerfed. And more stuff like that people were bitching about.

Recoil. That's what has changed. They've added massive, MASSIVE recoil to weapons, effectively rendering them useless at mid-range. You are not going to shoot anyone while you are moving and it's very difficult to shoot anyone while they are moving, using an SMG, from medium distance. You have to stop and couch to stand any chance. Even at short bursts, recoil is atrocious. I think Battlefield stretches the boundaries of acceptable recoil. It sits right on the edge. It's passable, the recoil in Battlefield, athough it probably frustrates a lot of noobs into quitting. They've jumped the shark here though with Crysis 2. The recoil is unacceptable. It wasn't part of the beta either.

Now, there's no effective mid-range firefights, because of recoil. Snipers have a huge advantage because people who choose not to snipe cannot reach those who are sniping. It has destroyed the balance entirely. MP-wise, this game is crap. It's like Halo, only ever worse. Feast or famine. Either you're sniping people from all the way across the map, or you are spraying them while standing two feet away from their faces. There is no in-between.

    Garbage.

Unless you use the SCAR. The damn thing is so overpowered in this game.

I'm having no problems with the multiplayer. Have a 1.8 KD right now, and the only problems I can think of is some hit detection issues, and rarely the reload button won't work when you're swapping suit modes quickly.

Stealth kills have to be lined up on their back way too precisely, and an impact sound effect for melees would be nice.

If you can't handle the recoil (which is nothing compared to COD), there's a module that reduces it.

And Crytek was pretty good about updating their first game. I'm sure they'll do the same for this one.

Which is absolutely the worst issue you can have in a game focused around a bunch of people relying heavily on accurate hit detection :)

Well if it happened constantly it'd be a problem, but it's only happened to me when I had red bar ping.

I've done far better at this game than any other previous console shooters (BC2, Reach, COD) I've played, so I'm gonna say the issues aren't game breaking, but it'd be great to see them fixed.

The MP has a learning curve to it, but it's not really broken. I've hardly ever been killed by camping snipers. In fact, unless it's a headshot, sniping takes 2 hits to kill. The recoil is there, but imagine shooting guns that big at targets running at about 15 MPH... It's easy compared to real life.

Only thing that drives me crazy is that I never know when I'm getting melée'd. It's too quiet. Otherwise, I'm still having a ton of fun. Stealthily assassinating people is insanly awesome.

What modules are you all using?

    Stealth LVL: 9
    Armor LVL: 4
    Power LVL: 5

    Armor: Threat Tracer
    Stealth: Stealth Enhance
    Power: Aim Enhance

I'm about the same as you are.

    Stealth: 6 Stealth Enhance
    Armor: 4 Threat Tracer
    Power: 4 (Quick Reload)

I'm slightly confused though... What does leveling a module up do? And I really can't wait until I get the mobility enhance... :)

And I thought there would be more. Is there a stealth energy decrease? Im not seeing one, but I really hope there is...

Upgrade 3 on Stealth Enhance halves the drain rate for cloaking.

Each level gives you 1 module unlock. Hitting level 6 on any of the 3 allows you to unlock any of the modules for that mode.

You gain experience for each suit mode by using it often.

I'm using Proximity Sensor, the module that makes you invisible to UAVs and the faster reload module. The proximity sensor is probably my favorite, essentially warning you when an enemy is close so you can cloak or get ready for a melee attack. I tend to spray a tad bit so the reload is useful.

Glad they nerfed nanovision, was getting tired of people sniping me whilst in that mode.

Okay cool thanks. I wish it told you somewhere what the perks were for leveling up a certain module.

With mobility enhance and stealth enhance 3 my KD ratio is really gonna pick up.

I'm on 8/8/8. I find each suit mode works best once you learn when and where each one takes priority so it's led to an almost perfectly even balance between the two... which happened to also be the same balance as power.

I've got an assault setup and a sniper setup I switch between. For assault I use Armor Enhance, Tracker and Aim Enhance. For the sniper Nano Recharge, Visor Enhance and Retriever. Retriever is a Godsend when you're getting 10+ kill streaks but never once set foot near a dog tag.

ok, so it turns out the problem with the MP was my connection.. I restarted my router and I'm getting 4 bars every match :D So as of right now I'm level 16 and my module's are 7 power, 5 Armor, and 2 Stealth (I hate stealth). Perks are Proximity Alert (<--Broken but I'm close to getting the 20G achievement for it), Covert Ops, and Loadout Pro. An effective tactic for leveling up Power and Stealth is Crash Site. While you are capturing the Crash Site, turn on either Power or Stealth and every +30 points you get those'll go to the Modules :D
