Which control scheme do you find works best? I was preferring the swipe method, but then I discovered that pulling off special moves was rather difficult.

 

I don't store any music on my iPad because I use Spotify does anyone know if it integrates with that?

This is probably one of my most favorite games on Steam and I can't believe it's on iOS. Instant buy.

 

On Steam this is one of my favorite games in the last year. And our game count is at somewhere near 200 thanks to Humble Bundles & Humble Monthly. Tough but a rad romp indeed.

 

All my music is on my Amazon app. I wonder if it integrates with any music you have/can play.

 

I have this game on PS4, Vita, and Steam. Should be in every true gamers collection. Fantastic game.

 

Are there different starting characters? Can you pick between male and female?

 

Yeah this is the only thing holding me back on pushing buy at the moment.

EDIT: apparently it's not possible because the song needs to be loaded into memory first - on PC anyway so I'm guessing it's the same on iOS.

The game soundtrack sounds ace but Im wondering what the longevity would be like without using your own tunes?

Yes but you need to unlock them. The characters have different music and abilities.

 

Is anyone playing this on a phone? Does that work well or do you need more screen?

This game is sooooooo good!!! Don't even like the rhythm aspect. Too stressful for me. But playing with the Bard makes it easy for me. Love everything this gem has to offer. Fantastic roguelike!

 

Yes playing as bard makes the game strategic. It's a new dynamic.

 

Well if it's the exact same as the ps4 version I say a definite yes. The soundtrack is amazing in my opinion.

 

The game is known for its own soundtrack. I wasn't even aware of the syncing up aspects with your own music. Definetly.
