For those OCD among us who have to get EVERYTHING I'd say 3-4 hours straight, especially on the later levels. I lost ten times against the owl in the first combat. No matter if I "attack" or "shield". And why is there a d-pad when it's on rails? Will rage delete soon. sladeums Well-Known Member Feb 2, 2012 607 0 0 Omaha, NE #17 sladeums, May 10, 2012 There isn't a d-pad. The game pretty much tells you what you need to do to beat that level via the text instructions. I'm not sure what you are missing here or I'd offer some advice. Are you steering to avoid the owl attacks? Attacking only when you see it's eyes? Habakuk Well-Known Member Dec 11, 2008 4,779 9 38 Vienna, Austria http://rossau.wordpress.com #18 Habakuk, May 10, 2012 Thanks, sladeums. Never mind. I thought it's enough to TAP on the "Shield" text because it's some kind of a button. But it's merely an instruction. I learned from Albie's review that I have to draw circles You see? I have both Infinity Blades but didn't play them enough to get those fighting mechanics. Or I played them too much (there is a shield button afair) maybe (not really). In German-language it's expressed like this: I can't see the forest because of all those trees Never mind, good game. Recommended (but read the reviews first). tA editor's review: http://toucharcade.com/2012/04/19/crow-review-this-dark-adventure-will-send-you-flying/ DelBoy2181 Well-Known Member Mar 14, 2011 857 0 0 London, England #19 DelBoy2181, May 10, 2012 I know it's only $0.99 at the moment and it's Universal but is it definitely a recommended game? I'm currently sitting on the fence regarding getting it as it isn't that long and also quite large in terms of file size. The mixed reviews on the UK and US AppStore have left me wondering whether it's worth getting as it appears to be a game where your either like it or hate it/find it boring, mainly due to its short length and on-the-rails gameplay. Habakuk Well-Known Member Dec 11, 2008 4,779 9 38 Vienna, Austria http://rossau.wordpress.com #20 Habakuk, May 10, 2012 Personally I like it despite of my self-made troubles at start. Can't tell about the length of the game yet. But if you have (or think about to get) an iPad 3rd gen. it's a must have alone because of the brilliant graphics and dense atmosphere. If you are an absolute action fanatic and would love to have a game with strange "birds" and a very good flight feeling (with better tilt controls and where action and exploring is merged in a better way) wait until Nanosaur 2 is on sale again.
