I'd suggest things that slightly change gameplay: - sports cars that go faster - quicksand that will cause you to sink and die if you stand on spot too long - drunk character that tap is the same but swipes are backwards (ie swipe left to go right, up to go back) - highways where cars go faster instead of regular roads - speed bumps that cause cars to momentarily stall - parade of people on a road that walk slow and only leave small gaps to move through - a moonwalking bear or dancer that is moving backwards
One thought... power ups. Every 50 or 100 feet you get a short turn power up. 1. Magnet 2. Invincibility (limited to like 15 steps or so) 3. Treasure (a stash of coins fall from the sky, you have to pick them up) 4. Wings (for 5 seconds, seriously, how fast can you tap in five seconds) 5. Giant Steps (for a limited time each step will propel you three spaces ahead, evil if you think about it) 6. Gun (to blast things) 7. Portal (brings you to an arena with a boss fight with... yep, THE EAGLE!)
There are some good ideas for added gameplay but I think you still want to keep the purity of the game rather than turning it into what a million other games have. One idea that might be good and I'll use the game Dudeski as an example. In that game when you get to a certain distance you have the option to start at that higher distance achieved and continue on rather than right at the beginning every time. This might be good for this game.

My brother is playing this game and suggested a jack o' lantern ( pumpkin) , cactus, Mexican jumping bean with a sombrero, a big fluffy pillow that goes Puff when hit and shoots a whole bunch of feathers all over the place....hope this helps#

My new high score is 338 with fast tortoise, pretty happy with that actually as my prior high score was 171. I agree with others, do not change the game too much, it is obviously very good and people like it as evidenced by the quick poupularity of the game and great reviews. If there are big changes make them optional at least. I have still not got a single character that changes the world in any way and I have 14 of them now. I also have never been given an option to view videos so I'm getting characters slower than others likely are.
Oh, and I can't believe you included my mom as a playable e character!!! Big fat pig is a perfect rendition of how she looks and is also what everyone calls her so it was neat you could put her in your game!
Holy!! I I hate those little Flappy games etc. But this is so addicting. Very amazing job. I also love thhe graphic style. Can't wait for more content!
I had like 10 times that my effort to collect 100coins just go away by having like 10 characters just repeating again and again..
Portrait, because I can hold the phone with one hand (even though I hold it with both to click faster ). The game freezed just after clicking to spend 100 coins on a random character. I got the image of the machine dispenser, but it hang and I had to force close. I lost my 100 coins and didn't get any character :-/ anyway, great game. I have 31/50 characters
I had that happen, but when I reopened I had a new character. It probably still counted you just got a duplicate I'd guess.
