You know, that's exactly what I was thinking. This has absolutely no right to be as good as it is. Also, yeah...I wouldn't mind a doubler IAP.
This game is oh so good, surely a GOTW contender, some strong releases this week. Myself and my parents used to play Frogger for hours, they are gonna love this on their iPads! 5-star review on AppStore.
Thanks! We wanted to avoid a coin doubler as you already get coins very quickly. We would have had to reduce the natural rate.
If that's the case, then I'd rather stay without it. The last thing we need are the masses turning on the game for some silly reason like "TEH KOIN RAIT IZ SO SLOW. IS A PLOI TO MEKK MI BUY DA IAP. **** FRI 2EW PLEY!"
This is a "free" game but it's not that kind of game. We put a lot of thought into the ad integration and in-app purchases. We'll probably make less money But the idea was to make a product that as many people as possible can enjoy.
And enjoy they shall. Seriously, this little thing is beyond fun. Oh, and as far as the ad integration's concerned... The fact that it's entirely optional, never in your face and not ruining your game experience is all the more reason to take the 15 seconds to watch an ad in return for currency. You guys handled this very well.
Just popping in to say how incredibly fun and addictive this is. I absolutely love the simple controls, and the large pixelated graphics are sublime! I bought the "forget-me-not" dude to show a little support.
Ok, I'll buy a character then. Which characters involve a scenery change? For example, I won the penguin and I've seen the scenery becomes white as the north pole.
Fantastic game. I laughed out loud for like a minute the first time my penguin got killed by the eagle. So unexpected and hilarious.
I have no clue why this game is so addicting, but it is! Probably because I keep trying to beat all you guys in here. That and the randomness of everything. Definitely not what I was expecting. I almost didn't download it. Glad I did.
This is my personal game of the week (and there were a ton of great games this week). I was hooked on Frogger as a kid (like George Costanza-hooked lol) but this is better in my opinion. I think my best is 120ish but I will look to catch up to some of you. For the person who asked about the background change Frankenstein adds a nice effect. Oh and it's crazy when you know there's a train coming, take a chance and cross and barely make it (makes me jump out of my seat hah). To the developer, I know you just released but are you planning any updates, added content? Even if you don't this one's going to stay on my phone for awhile
Me too, except for the part about almost not downloading it I noticed you can play in both portrait & landscape. Added bonus points for that!!! 2X bonus for the way friends names are displayed across the playing field!
I'm following this thread, but am I alone in not wanting to read these character spoilers? Spoiler bars would be nice. I know these spoilers aren't major, but it would make it more fun for those of us who have not unlocked the specific character. Thanks.
