That's correct. If you don't see prices for the characters you won't get any character trials. The game will also only offer trials if there are at least 3 "special" characters left to unlock. We don't offer trials for brown bunny
As if it wasn't already great, with this latest update I think it's safe to say this is by far the best "Get" title on the App Store. Not that I condone doing the same (DON'T), but I updated while driving to work yesterday and bought the piggy bank without even blinking an eye. Love this awesome frickin' game.
I purchased the Piggy Bank, even though it's really pricy, this small pay check goes to you devs for this great game. Missing 4 characters and I haven't even seen ONE character preview... What do you mean by 3 "special" characters? The normal ones or the hidden characters + Piggy Bank?
Status + 2 Questions Currently, I have 51 out of 53 characters. Only ones missing are: Big Fat Pig Dragon I also have a question about this 250 coin item. Before when I did not have 250 coins, I had the opportunity to "preview" one of three characters that I did not yet unlock. Now, I have 1,000 coins through playing, but no longer see this preview feature. As a result, I have the following questions: 1. If this feature appears again, will I be able to buy one of my remaining two characters for 250 coins? 2. If I buy the character for $0.99, will I get as a bonus 250 coins for buying the character? Which is correct? I have these 1,000 coins reserved in case question 1 is correct. Thanks, frisbee10461
Yeap, this is what I thought after posting, but I didn't reflect it here. In fact, talking about worldwide release it might be much more proper to call it "alcancía" than "hucha" because more people call it like that, even though in Spain it's a completely unknown word
Any chance of supporting cloud saving so all characters and coin balance etc can be shared across iphone/ipad!?

AFAIK it's not "buy for 250 coins", but "buy the character (through this link) and get 250 coins (along with the character)." This is my belief after reading all the posts, even when some of them give the impression of offering to buy the character for in-game coins. I still have to get the sheep, I've played A LOT in the machine and I've achieved nothing, and didn't get any offers, but devs said already that when you're missing less than 3 characters you don't get the character trial.
I think I got a bug. I had tried the Penguin in the new timed trial mode. When you are done with the trial it switches you to Random character. I have now obtained the Penguin by playing the character machine but something weird happens. When I play with Penguin I always get switched back to Random when I die. Is that normal? It is quite annoying and pretty much makes me just avoid using the Penguin at all .. Thanks. Also I read the piggy bank does not count for the total well I for one is happy about this because I'm a completist and I would not like to be FORCED to pay to make sure my count is complete xD
This game is so much fun- still playing it as if it's new! love the piggy bank as well- so how many characters have you all gotten?? collecting them is very fun. i currently just got 52/53! missing grey bunny. also on a side note I think it would be cool to see mini achievements in the game- like "get to 200" or "blow up this many items w the dragon/epoch" for coins or even just as a challenge log or something - just a thought.thanks for the amazing game devs.
Just won 1,040 coins and got 2 new characters! I've got 49/53. Just need Scruffy Dog, Floppy Fish, Specimen 115, and the Dragon. Bought the Piggy Bank a few days ago. At first I thought you had to use him to get the red coins, but soon realized it doesn't matter who you use. Makes earning a lot faster. So far spent $6 on this awesome game and still loving it. Not sure if this was brought up already, but there have been issues with the Game Center challenges and player name positions on the grid. I'm 99% positive it's a GC issue but I thought it was worth mentioning. Also there seems to be a few hiccups in the game, especially right at the beginning of a run. I don't remember that happening before so I'm not sure what could be causing it. iPhone 5, iOS 7.1.2
Finally got all 53 Characters, didn't buy any of them, so it really is possible! (Except for Piggy Bank, but he isn't counted in the 53 as we know.) Last character I unlocked was the tree frog.
I've never once seen the trial of a new charchter and I have at least 10 to go yet. I've saved my coins just in case, but never once has it popped up.
