How would this work if your main character is not picking items up? The sub doesn't pick items up for you. Also, should I keep watery gemstones, broken teeth, devil's stones, etc? They're clogging up my inventory.
excellent Excellent work, Kind. You give lots and lots of solid advice. Wish I'd known 1/10th of it starting out. Great stuff.
IMO, the game is so challenging that any advice can help. Gotta admit, this game is a beast - but very rewarding! One of the most rewarding and engrossing games I've played on any system. It's really amazing that all this work went into an Iphone/pad game. I ever like the opening theme. Some other tips - probably repeats, but bear repeating: * about the highest drop rate ive found on hats, armor or grieves is 86% Most definitely hold on to anything with a drop rate over 80%. Aim for ones with four slots. Do the math, a four slot with low drop rate may be better than a high drop rate gear with 1 or 2 slots. The key to getting solid material is getting purple gear, which the drop rate stuff increases manifold, plus it helps with unique's. * If you get a four slot with good drop rate, ask for some rare dragon cards. Most likely someone on here has some extra's. * If you hit a wall, or have general questions, ask on this forum. *participate in the forum! I for one like the constant discussion of the game. *Pay attention to the boss patterns. For example, when the dragon circles, he's about to land. Get in there on top of him and use you skill. The centipede will pause when popping up, get in close so he doesn't head butt you and stun you. When he goes under a second time and moves a lot, Look out, he's about to pop us killer spikes. Overall, its best to keep moving, constantly, constantly. Only exception being against the dragon. In my experience he's more likely to land when I stand still (except, I get out of the way when he breathes fire, and scramble when the fireballs rain down. * all bosses have weak spots. experiment and search them out. It many cases, it isn't necessary to destroy their parts before killing them. A lot of this KB already stated, but I believe it bears repeating. *For Pochi, I believe the slash is the best skill tree, with maxing out the storm of the blood and the sublime slashing of the moonlight.
If your planning on making Low Rank Armors and weps then yes keep it. But if your past that point sell them for extra gold or give them to someone whos in need.
Anybody have Ann's ultimate with 4 card slots willing to trade with me? I'm ready to trade my 20+ dragon cards just for that.
I wish I had those. I have Pochi's, Laily's and Lamiere's ultimates with 4 slot. I don't have Ann's or Heine's with 4 slots. I'm currently trying to get 4 slot demon dream pants, PITA.
Thanks, guys! Awesome set of tips. Really is a great game so far and I'm sure these will help a bunch. I especially agree even from what little I've played that you can't just hack n' slash your way through the game and expect to succeed.
how can find these dungeon??...i'm lvl99 but i can't file these coordinates of dungeon...please help me
Once you've beaten the game, play your ocarina from most places and it summons the airship. From there you walk to the bow and press action to open a menu. From there you have the option to enter in co-ordinates. Once you've visited a dungeon once, it will be on the bottom menu. Also, you can use the ship to visit anywhere on the map with the top option. edit: whoops, just noticed now that you figures it out. :s
This one is mainly for Nitou, SGCC1 and ngoin, but anybody else with a lot of grinding experience, by all means, speak up. Q: In your experience, how many times must you grind an arena to get a unique? I've done over eighty at times to no avail. Just wondering how it plays out for everyone else.
IMO it seems as though the drop rate of specific uniques vary from one another. E.g. why the heck am I only getting eyeballs and not the Devil Tribes Claw? Also LUCK is another important variable to take into consideration as on more than one occasion I've got uniques from just the first attempt of an arena . However, on average I need to grind an arena approx. 40 times for a drop (approx. 1 per hr). How's your luck with the D. T Claw?
whew. . . no luck so far. . .; I keep track of my grinding just for the heck of it; I agree there is a big element of luck involved. I'm at 25 grinds in "everything's real" Your estimate of 40 has me motivated. I've given up on "rally" b/c all I got was devil's eyeball. I've gotten at least 1 eyeball from 'everything's real" but I believe if I can manage the stick-to-it-tiveness, I'll get that claw, dangit! SGCC, how's your hunting going?
unique droppings I really think first a lot depends upon your rare drop rate +% buffs. So that plays a lot into the number or runs required. What is see is a rate of about: 1:10 for network dungeons. 1:30 for ancient dungeons for normal maps I'm seeing about 2 drops per 24 hours, which is probably the most telling as I'm auto farming. You could do a little math and get an idea of how many runs you need at an ancient dungeon by how long it takes to complete it. As for the devil tribe's claw... I'm thinking we should find a place to auto farm the SOB. Once I get the woodian's ring I'll start auto farming for it. We need to find a place with devil tribes (either gargoyles or "ghosts") at around level 65-75.
No new uniques just yet. I think I might farm for a different unique (Heap of Boar). I've sent you a new set (keep it or just send it to those who need it)
