I'll help you farm for it once I finish collecting all the titles. Only 2 more advanced sets and 4 normal sets to go. I'll probably complete this by the end of the day and then it's back to hunting for uniques. What's your ranking on the achievements leaderboard btw?
oh, around 16th last time I checked. . .; I still have a lot of sub-missions to complete, and haven't started on the sets or titles. I'm pretty hooked on hunting uni's. They're rewarding when you finally, finally see that blue screen drop down. . . ahh, a warm fuzzy feeling it is. I loves hunting some uni's. After I finish the sub-mission I should jump up several places, too. Gonna do that after I get the blasted Claw!
I was hunting for uniques like a mad man but each unique only grants you 5 or 10 achievement points whereas 1 advanced title offers 10 or 20 points. I'm ranked 9th and I'm determined to get on the leaderboard.
Good work, keep going! Team America needs to knock some of the Koreans off the list. It's amazing that Nitou and You are as high up as you are. The Koreans are SERIOUS, SERIOUS gamers. They do not play.
They have huge internet cafes dedicated to gaming 24/7. You here stories of how people die due to exhaustion from too much gaming. RPGs and MMORPGs are huge in S. Korea.
Keep getting devil tribe's eyeball in the rally arena. It's an extra. PM me with your IGN if you want it.
devil tribe's claw have +100% rare drop buff and it's a necklace, whereas the devil tribe's eyeballs are rings and also have the +100% buff. Plus we need to get them for 100% completion anywayz.
I know we need to reach 100% completion but the trade seemed a bit extreme. One unique for all ultimates, armour, rings and necklaces. On a side note, have you got the road of the wreck achievement? I checked my achievements list and this has not been awarded to me even though all my characters are lvl 99. I know you had a problem with this earlier on. Do I need to max EXP for all characters
Is the trade extreme? Definitely. Do i have a 2 of what I've offered? absolutely. I'm not that crazy. And besides, I'm trying to get everyone off their butts to hunt this down. It's driving me crazy. I'll probably rescind the offer if no one bites in the next two hours. Oh well, some ppl don't know a good thing when it passes them by.
Okay, I'm gonna go grind for the Devil Tribes Claw (titles can wait). GKAR, do you want any Sets? Save you time in trying to craft them yourself I'm ranked 8th now btw. SO CLOSE!
Go, man Go! Any yes, some sets would be awesome, and you're right, save me A LOT of time. and get ready to scream in frustration. I've gotten 4 devil eyeballs and not. one. claw. grrrrrrr.. if you pull that off, you are the man fantastic. and that extreme offer also applies to finding archer's protection, with 4 slots only.
Just sent you some sets (you can keep them) I'm also just getting eyeballs. Weird thing is I also got a Mocking Mummy (lvl 80) from a lvl 60 mummy. Strange huh? I've only got a 1 slot Archer's Protection
Just out of curiousity, how far into the game is it before you get the healer? Still early in the game, going to find that guy in the forest who's supposed to help with the festival. Only found his boots and needed to go back to town because I'm realizing how it's easy to burn through those potions and they aren't cheap. For the most part it seems like the enemies don't engage you unless you attack first, so think I need to be a bit more selective in my battles for now. Probably one of the first types of these games I've played where you can't "rest" at an inn in town to regain health, etc. And 1200 gold for the priest to do it is pretty crazy (at least at this point in the game). Enjoying it, but can see where it can get challenging if you aren't careful.
Spoiler Heine, the healer, joins fairly early. You have a ways to go, there will be plenty of tension with regards to potion use even later on in the game Spoiler there are plenty of times you won't have Heine available I recommend taking your time and leveling up methodically, sell any extra gear and buy potions.
Yeah..follow what Nitou said. I think I got the healer ~3-4 hours in? Yeah, grind a little here and there. Hit and run. I usually control Ann and have Pochi attack, but gotta be careful still. You can try grinding near map entrances and if the computer controlled player is losing too much life, exit the map. And sell all your early loot drops to earn gold. Honestly though so far..the game isn't that hard for me and I didn't really use pots except for boss fights. So far I barely buy pots and don't really spend my gold at all. I've bought a few town portals, but since the maps aren't large to me, I just run back, and just kill enemies on the way back as my grind. But if you hit and run and learn the boss attack patterns, it's not hard. I do say though, sometimes the CPU controlled char dies, but I don't care. You can always lev them up later.
Tips Some other tips: This isn't a game that you can just hack and slash through. The enemies will massacre you if you don't learn their attack patterns and how to avoid them. Remember to use your boost liberally. You get plenty of blue crystalline, use it to make lots of energy potions so you can use your skills liberally. Make sure to swap in new characters before one of them dies during a boss fight. Sell all your white and yellow items, and disassemble the blue and purple for better craft sacrifices. Combine or mount your cards as you get them, there is no reason for them to take up much inventory space. Once you can, farm the bosses for their crafting drops. Farm the Grand Pudding for its card [+5% hp] and forging stones. Enhance your weapons to at least +5 once you craft or find a good one. Pochi really benefits from the +%sp steal equipment; It lets him use his skills over and over. Pochi + Heine will pretty much be your main team, make sure they get the best gears. Hold on to any +% Rare Item Drop gear for them. Laily makes for a great potion healer. Page 32 of this thread has a list of all the Ancient Dungeons. Go to Crimson Beach then Dracula's Mansion to level up to 78. Go to Rainy Ruin to level up to 99. Those have the easiest [relatively] bosses to tackle. Page 99 tells you how to get through the Witch's Forest. At one point or another, you will have to play as each character alone. Make sure your characters are all leveled up. There is no 'best' way to skill your characters. Each one has many viable builds. Ask for help here in the forum. There are plenty of other players willing to lend a hand [or loot].
Wouldn't a lot of these tips be spoilers for our new players? Edit: Oh and if you guys got an extra D. Tribes Eyeball let me know. I could really use it for drops
