The game isn't nerfed if you don't buy Rez scrolls. It is the same as earlier version but you have more benefits when you use Rez scrolls.
The updates sound nice, except for the difficulty. However it if affects the unique item drop rate that would be nice.

where to lvl up I've completed the game and I'm currently doing dungeon runs. Grinded in Draculas Mansion and all characters are lvl 82. Where should I go now? Don't want to go to Rainy Ruins just yet (maybe when my characters are lvl 85+). Can anyone also tell me what boss you will encounter for each dungeon? Nitou, are all your characters lvl 99? Its taking me bloody ages to lvl up all of them
Laily is lvl 90, rest are 99. You could try Forgotten ruins, boss there is a Bernice type. Or Cow room, boss there is 3 blue claw type. btw - the game tells you which monsters are the boss of the dungeons.
It only tells you the boss once you've already completed the dungeon. Didn't want to grind in a new dungeon all the way to the boss and then find that its one thats a pain to kill. Whats the boss in Piriah Great Merchant, Tower of Star and Adelia Podium? Cheers
Can anyone who's updated to the new version confirm if the difficulty has been toned down? I'm wondering if the "lower difficulty" means the enemies attack for less, the enemies have less HP, less number of enemies and/or players can gain experience faster? I still want to get this game eventually, and if the toned down difficulty means I can beat the game ~10-15 hours (I wish)..I'll finally get the game.
It has been toned down, but not too much. There is no way you can beat it in 10-15 hours. The game is just too long.
I don't really see much difference with the update BUT its probably more noticeable for those that are just starting and are at a low lvl. Cheers for the boss list Nitou. Hackenbower again! How many dungeons is he the final boss to. How much stronger is he compared to the one found in Draculas Mansion who was lvl 79?
There are several dungeons with Hakenbower. Some of them have him as a sub-boss. I really can't quantify how much stronger they are than Dracula. I've been one-hit KO'ing the lvl 99 Hakenbower Zero for a week now, I think that means he has about 300K HP.
1 Hit KO!!! Beast!!! It'll take me a while to get there. Think I'll grind the Golem as hes a relatively easy boss, then I'll go straight to the Grand Pudding in Rainy Ruins.
Slicing Moonlight has 4-5 hits at over 100K each. At present I've equipped my item finding gear so I'm not hitting at max, but hopefully I'll get some new uniques. Dimension of Pieces might be a good place to level. Great place to pick up adv craft items and a place to practices on bosses.
