kool Ok thank you. I just beat it the first time. Got the gem. I tried to beat him when he's level 15 when u get the Mage girl, but he killed her, then proceeded to pound my face in with his...slime? I'm trying to get to level 16 just so I can equip it when I make it
yeah Im with Ann right now and he kills her very quick and then proceeds to make fun of me.... i always end up dying when i about to kill him... what frustrates me more is the fact that i visited a dungeon(with one of the tickets i got) and got all my equips on purple... and i still get owned by the jelly -__- of course i only played for 2 hours but still....
How bad are the IAP's in this one? At $1, I'm thinking of grabbing it, but I've got a LOT of huge games to play through at the moment. Does this one hold a flame to Zenonia?
Zenonia sux next to this(I deleted zenonia 2,3 and 4 from my ipod)... and IAP's seem unnesesary... some of the IAP's are tickets, for dungeons... this game is challenging... anyone who finds Zenonia, difficult, will get owned badly here... plus this game has 360 degree movement... you can't say that about many games this game reminds me a lot of Monster Hunter... killing bosses in order to get materials to make better weapons and armor... that plus a leveling system and a good storyline about dragons and magic and stuff... for a dollar you can't go wrong... unless you prefer the nature of zenonia ._.
Best part about Zenonia is that I got 1,2, and 4 for free during this holiday super mega sale time. But if this is more difficult and more MH-esque, I'm sold. I'll grab it in a few! One other question....Can you reallocate skill/stat points for free/in game currency, or is that option premium?
I'm not sure... Let me check and i'll report back in a few EDIT: Ok here's the answer to you question. you can buy Stat and Skill reallocation potions. But they cost caramels(the premium currency). it costs 100 caramels for each potion. and 99 caramels sell for 99 cents.... SO, you'd have to pay 1.98(2 sets of 99 cents) for 198 caramels or 4.99 for 550 caramels(there's also 1200 caramels for 9.99) But i don't think that should be a problems since you can see the whole skill tree from the start... it shouldn't really be a problem allocating points into the right thing (4 Stats: STR, DEX, INT and VIT) Oh and the only negative i see to this game right now is that I can't find if there's an option for screen flipping... i HATE having to play with the side of the home button on my left hand...
Woohoo Ok so I beat the big pudding bastard 2 more times and I got another gem. Now I hat need to get to level 18 to equip it. . It doesn't help that this stupid Mage guy keeps telling me to go kill puddings and stuff.
It's not that hard in fact, you just need to think for a while and try to avoid damage when you see it coming
not really... just no button mashing or else your dead.... but a Demon's Souls/Dark Souls type game on iOS would be oh so hawt
Thanks! I downloaded it and will play it after work today. And I prefer the native screen orientation - I hate when games conflict with the smart cover! -_- But screen flip SHOULD be included in every game as a "must-have" option. It seems SO lazy for games not to include it anymore.
Dunno whats demon souls sorry. But yea, the bosses are hard. But they can be beat. Im at combined level of 179 atm (5 chars) and I am still loving it. I really like the little things, like each mob takes virtual space on the map. Eg. You will run into them when crossing the map and "feel" their body. Other games u just pass invisibly thru mobs. As I said before , the weapons and helmet look so epic. When I did my king jelly sword I giggled like a schoolgirl. Not to put spoilers but the game gets harder at higher lvls. For me it was not the mobs or bosses, but the puzzles and u are forced to play each character. So if u only used a certain 2 like I did, then it will take u time. As for guides, I looked for them for hours but none, so I eventually figured out everything on my own. With the gunner and dual blader, dunno if they should have been Int, dex or str, oh well. The gunner lays mines on the ground and they explode when mobs cross it. Which rpg last did that!?
I detest him too LOL. He has a pattern though but I was too sleepy to pay attention last night. I ran around a lot and tapped my boost meter too until he finally died
strategy I go with the normal attack X3, then I do the dash attack, then I repeat till he summons the lil puddings, that's when I use boost to wipe em all out. Then I do same as before till he summons again and just keep doing this till he's dead. Easy peasy
What do you mean by the first bolded statement? And to answer your second bolded question, see Spiral Knights. I played the Bomber class because it was awesome.
No player auction? I thought I read on one of the earlier forum posts that there was a place where u could auction your stuff, like in Destinia. Am I goin insane or is there a place I just don't see yet? Help is greatly appreciated.
Ok i will put it in a spoiler. The bosses are still really hard and huge. But, Spoiler Pochi gets really ill at lvl 45+ and the other classes have to save him and to do so each of them go thru a test given by a witch. So for me I only used Pochi and heine. Since Pochi was now ill I could not use him. And so ann for e.g was lvl 22 and had to lvl her to 40 to survive in the test area. Also, some hard puzzles like a maze in the forest. If u played zelda 1, u had a maze before the cemetery. In CH its the same. I could not find any online help for it so had to figure it all out on my own. Something a game never made me do before, lol.
I realize, I spent over $3 in IAP because of the difficulty. I'm going to play Zenonia 4 & other apps in my spare time instead. Good game but a bit too much for right now.
Confirmed it does not run on 1st and 2nd gen devices. It does run on my iPod 4G. Devs are only hurting themselves but not spending the extra 20 seconds putting a proper system requirements in the app description. Customers are for sure going to ask for refunds and Apple is going to charge the devs for the 30% or whatever difference in price. It's interesting as this game actually installs on my iPhone 3G, but crashes immediately upon launch. My conclusion is that the devs simply did not bother testing this on older devices at all or forgot the existence of older devices, very bad practice. This game will run perfectly fine on older devices as its graphics are hardly better than Zenonia, it's just up to the devs if they want to spend the extra hour or two making it compatible. Seeing Gamevil's direction on omitting older devices on purpose to get everyone to start buying iPhone 4S, I doubt it.
