Someone posted earlier in this thread that it doesn't run on iPod 2nd gen. I personally cannot run this on the iPhone 3G, so I am almost certain older devices are incompatible. It's a pity cause I want to play this game so bad, but can't. I will be upgrading in february though.

I've put 14 hours in it and I would say I am half-way into the game. I just wish a wiki would be somewhere. Some stuff are just too hard to figure out, especially where to spend points for the dual swordess and the gunner. At the moment I am forced to use none-Pochi

Not to bash DH3 but dude have you seen the thread? Iap horror! And its just arena mode.

Urk, I am so tempted to buy this, especially with the 99c price tag. I love me a good KRPG. The mentioned expensive healing cost and the addition of IAP make me hesitate, though...
Not to mention that I recently picked up Illusia, Zenonia 4, and Aurum Blade, so I have quite a chunk of KRPG to play through right now. Is this game much better than the Zenonia series?

... and the IAP make you hesitate??? Your mentioned games have much more IAP than this game does!

In short, this should be the ONLY KRPG game you have on your device if you like challenging combat system, not button mashing like the others are.

    Yay, I'm back.

Healing: it does cost a lot BUT, you get tons of loot so make sure you go to town every now and then and sell any extra items. You will have tons of money in no time. Additionally, you craft pots using some drops which u get from mobs like healing leaf, for free.

The other games u mentioned are okay but their controls are really clunky. I also have and play all of them. But I've played CH by far the most. I'm 30 hours into CH gosh.

P.s. i did purchase resurrection scrolls for 99c but thats all. Some bosses are hard but all fun!

I did manage to pick up those aforementioned games for free, though. ;p
Well, I've been convinced - I shall have to give this one a try! It's true that the controls for games like Zenonia are pretty insufferable...then again, so are most virtual d pads. The controls here really appear to be a welcome change.

This game is near perfect but its difficulty level is far higher than games like Zenonia. Like i said before it's a bit hit or miss. Some people like more casual fun (Zenonia) or this which takes a lot of concentration (you have to dodge constantly and go back to towns often to heal). Some people do like a challenge however.

For me, I like in-between but this game is pretty difficult for me even though I've played over 2 dozen iOS rpgs

I'm just curious..is the difficulty in that you have to time when to attack/dodge/use spells, or does it feel like bosses are just overpowered?

I'm very curious about this game. At .99, it's so cheap, I'm going to buy it

I did buy it! Off to play it and will return to give my impressions

Forgot to ask..how does this game compare to Aurum Blade.. The only krpg that I completed was Aurum Blade since its felt so much like Diablo to me.

The bosses have attack patterns for their diffrent attacks. But they are randomized like in Wild Frontier. The bosses are not over powered. They bosses can be countered with the right types of ai. They are not easy, but they are beatable.

This RPG is no joke. The pudding boss took me like 8 times or so to beat. These creatures aren't easy to beat! This is a very challenging game I can see. I need to find a guide.

One single "rofl" can be taken a few ways as I'm sure you understood that when posting it. :) Alrighty, to me, this is definitely not easy. I can see I'm not alone in that consensus. I even googled for a guide but nothing. This appears to have been an Android game before coming to iOS.

I really hope the devs don't lower the difficulty, it's one of the most appealing aspects of this game.

However I would recommend lowering the HP of some enemies and bosses and increasing their attack power and skills instead.

Fighting a regular monster and having to hit it 15 times is a bit tedious, I would rather get killed if Im reckless but being able to slay the best in a few hits.

Same with bosses, more power so you need to dodge and attack strategically, but less health so you don't have to constantly attack them for 10 min.

    Game Impressions

What damned sorcery is at work with this game?! I normally can't stand these silly little asian RPGs with their constantly bouncing characters with ridiculous spiky hair. I can't stand their banal stories and inane dialogue. At best they tend to simply leave me cold. How on earth did I just spend almost an hour and a half glued to the screen on my initial playthrough?! I even like the story. And not only that; I like how it appears to be set up, told, and generally handled. It's.. It's... Oh I just can't say it. It's... Oh alright, it's...tasteful.

This is an outrage. I strongly and fervently protest! I demand a recount! I demand a full enquiry! I demand more time to play.

    Grand gemstones?

O so I went into a dungeon and used ALL my 16 potions. Big mistake. All I got were a few swords (barely better than mine) and some rinky dink craft stuff. I was gonna craft a king jelly sword (or whatever it's called) but I need 2 TWO grand gemstones. Can anybody tell me where to get them? They sound super rare (purple name). I did however get a purple helmet drop from a pudding like 20 minutes into the game. Looks cool :) please and thank you.
