CH2 was the most wanted game after CH1 was generally considered the best of its kind on iPhone. But then we forgot about it after there was no English release for decades. And it's finally here? Amazing! Bummer no iPhone X support but I'll take what I can get.. Edit: Looks like it's an online only game Great.... These games generally were all offline. That's so disappointing. anthony78 Well-Known Member Nov 13, 2015 3,046 623 113 #3 anthony78, Jul 7, 2019 Sucks no iPhone X support. Are there any KRPGs like this that are? Probably still check this out. Ringerill Well-Known Member Dec 13, 2012 315 170 43 #4 Ringerill, Jul 12, 2019 Yeah I have also been surprised. I was too disappointed when the first one was not compatible with the new iOS version... But I am not that surprised by the online only thing. The first one was offline but many features were disabled if you didn’t go online (dungeons, daily challenges, PvP, character saves, etc). I will give it a try as an old lover of the first one and will keep you informed about the difference and if it’s worth to try this one too Ringerill Well-Known Member Dec 13, 2012 315 170 43 #5 Ringerill, Jul 12, 2019 Ok, false alarm, this game is not worth it... Not counting a constant online connection required, the whole game is just a regular KRPG with IAPs. For some reason they removed the Priest class so no way to heal yourself. The crafting system is way too strange with random materials to craft random rewards but you can only do it once before the need to refresh the whole craft menu (only doable once per 10min). The Cards you could drop before from bosses to enchant your equipment have been replaced with card you can add to your character. But these cards can only be obtained from IAP currency packs or through some special events, that require also IAP currency... Also, even after 3-4 hours, I still havent seen any possibility to redo a boss to farm some equipment and materials. Maybe there is one but I don't see how and where it could be done. In the first game, you simply had to come back to the location of the boss to battle it again but now if you come back, some stupid mob with just an overly pixelated zoomed sprite is available (even if there is a boss battle theme played). So the only way I can see is through the special dungeons available only via the special currency. Yes another good game destroyed with useless internet connection and omnipresent IAP. Even the skill tree is ridiculously small and useless... And I don't even mention that the scenario is like 80% identical with the first game of the name. For those looking for KRPG, the only ones I am aware that do not required internet connections and that are faily generous with the gameplay are Inotia and Zenonia. I had others in mind but due to the lack of maintenance from the devs, they are no longer available on the AppStore because of iOS9 anthony78 Well-Known Member Nov 13, 2015 3,046 623 113 #6 anthony78, Jul 12, 2019 Well, that’s a bummer. Related is that I just saw Inotia 4 had been updated (a month ago?) for iPhone X! Ringerill Well-Known Member Dec 13, 2012 315 170 43 #7 Ringerill, Jul 12, 2019 Every month, Inotia 4 and basically all com2us games are "updated" in quotes and the same message is "Minor bug fixes". Either they really have lots of minor bugs that they are able to update every month or it is just a way of maintaining the activity of the game. But sometimes some updates are actually doing something, like that iPhoneX one (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
