Ahh Thanks! Never thought to tap the portrait under skills. Thought you got new skills as you leveled up.

So tempted to get this, but i don't really like iPhone games in 2X on the iPad, wish there was an HD version :(

Leveling up gives you access to skills, but it's up to you to allocate the skill points that you gain after every encounter. I actually really like the system, since it let's you customizes your character constantly through the game rather than just at designated leveling times.

Sorry -- have yet to encounter anything like that. In fact, I've found the game surprisingly stable considering it's size: not even a single quit-to-springboard event. Buggy piece of sh:t? Don't think so.

You should probably save more often than every 30+ minutes. Just sayin'.

Runs very smooth on my 3G, quite happy with it. No crashes either. Graphics are beautiful, all hand drawn, very charming.

Yeah I definately like this system too. Couldn't believe the size of the skill tree either. Only other thing I'm not sure of so far is the "F I W L H D" meanings on the character stat page.

Almost 3 hours in now playing on the ipad and this game is excellent IMO.

Are those graphics compatible with the retina display?

Ice and Wind...typical elements in Asian RPGs...

EDIT: In the original version they were FIRE, ICE, AIR (WIND), LIGHTNING, HOLY, and DARKNESS.

Lol...no problem. Menus are much easier to understand when you have the instruction manual from the original...xD

On a side note, this really is a very decent port. I'm not having as many troubles with the controls as some might, so it's been a great experience overall...plus, the humor's still all intact :)

    Literally just started this game.

Love the presentation so far. Feels like I'm playing a PSP or DS game and not so much an iPhone game.

Price justified already as I understand not everything should be 1.99 or below for it to scream "value".

So, the biggest issues with this game are some graphic glitches, a poorly timed voice track, and sensitive menu controls? How ugly are the graphic glitches?
