One question for anyone who's played the PSP version:
Is the voice acting like that too on the PSP? (not the whole sentence).

Maybe he expects this to have Open Feint? or new fart minigames? :p

Are you sure the update loaded? I had to delete some things to have it fit.

I *think* it did, but without version numbers in the game it's had to tell. I'll try downloading through iTunes and installing that way maybe.

I've tried using the bronze medallions in several combinations, and was always able to switch to all the characters and get out the menu without using all of them.

For voice acting sequences on the PSP, they're fully voiced and not partially voiced IIRC. I'm still hoping that adding in the rest of the voice acting from the PSP version is on Nate Games' list of things to do in the next update.

I hope so as well, though it seems unlikely :(
Why would they waste their time deleting some audios then putting them back in?

    Fingers crossed though!!

And... bought! Syncing my iPhone now... :D

And replying to previous post about the audio, there are many possibilities concerning why the dev decided to put only 60% of dialogue:
    1. trim down the app size
    2. was going to put all but decided to release with what they had just to test the marketability
    3. some technical problems

Personally, I tend to choose option number 2 :p

Im disappointed with the update. I though that they will improve the control, making it good like in CR. But no... :(

It's all about priorities. The controls are quirky but they don't break the game where the bronze medal and healing glitches could cause crashes.

The trimming of voice is definitely because of the app size. In order to do an update you need double the size of the app, a few people on here (myself included) had to delete apps in order to get the update on our devices. Imagine what would happen if they but all the dialog in there, the game would be well over a gig

No, I don't think including all voice acting will double the size of the app. The current game contains graphics, cutscenes, videos, interface, background and 60% of the audio already.

    Glad it worked.

On the controls -- I wouldn't expect miracles in a quick update like this one. They are improved, but not changed. Maybe in a 1.1 updated they'll have a chance to revisit the system. For now, they work better on an iPhone 4.

Going from a 3Gs to an iPhone 4, I had noticed that the controls were a bit more jittery, I would guess because of the increase in processor speed. With the update, they feel steadier.

The game takes up 738.5mb on your device after it unzips itself. Depending on the quality of the audio it's not out of the question for the game to get near the 1gb mark. For all we know the current app size could be 70% audio since the graphics and cutscenes were made for the psp's lower resolution screen

As far as controls go, I've found the equipment submenu noticeably improved, but the movable virtual d-pad still slides whilst in field/map movement. I'm still not quite sure about whether in-battle controls have been improved. How do they feel to everyone else who has updated?
