You can swipe down and hold your finger on the screen. It will scroll down the menu. Don't really know how to explain it
Big News: v.1.0.1 is coming! We've submitted it to Apple for review. Expect the new version next week. Usually it takes 5-7 biz days for Apple to review an app. We're gonna post the list of things we've fixed based on your requests. Thanks guys!
Huh - why? It's just saddening me when devs don't value and appreciate their own products. Furthermore, the AppStores pricing philosophies are starting to scare me. If we're acting like cheapskates, we won't get the good stuff anymore soon... This doesn't mean that you're a cheapskate. Devs need to earn good money to make more good games.
Is there any replay value on this title? I know the game is epic and all but I'm a heavy gamer and I love to replay my favorite games. Can anyone comment please? Thanks.
Because $10 is a perfect price for high quality games on this platform, telling devs their game is worth more than that will ruin it eventually.
There's nothing wrong with a game dropping in price -- the problem with the App Store is that the release/bargain bin transition is much too quick. Also, the initial price is too low. Interestingly, I just picked up Lunar for the PSP (which came out only a few months ago) at half the original price on PSN. Of course, that was still $15.00, but clearly the downward pressure on prices is not exclusive to the App Store.
(which is actually $10 right now) but, back on topic: I think $10 is the perfect price for a true quality title like this, but can someone comment on any replay value?
although lets not forget the Angry Birds costs 99c and has made its developers 3.5 million which is a fair wad of cash by anybodies standards
How do you defeat Larmont on top of the dungeon? I can't seem to do him any damage...I think I'm supposed to use a hammer but I cannot equip it. I'm about level 20. What am I missing here? Despite the ugly interface (discovering how to select combo skills surpised me) the game is really awesome. I'm loving it.
Other interface questions. What the crown means at the end of a battle? Sometimes one char get that. Can I recall back cards or medallions? Thanks!
Magic can hurt him, and so can the cleric. You don't actually wield the hammer, you just need to have it. The crown show the character who did the most damage -- they get a small bonus on experience. Cards and medallions are permanent -- as far as I know, anyway.
Will there be a New Game+? I've finished the current version of the game and there is no New Game+ like the PSP version. Don't have Facebook so I can't comment there
In the PSP there is kind of a new game+ (but not a 'true' one, I guess), where you keep your skills and there's extra items and equipment, I think.
Thank you, I'll try more then. BTW on Twitter/Facebook devs have published the 'fixed things' list. Seems they've fixed almost all the basic requests for menus usability plus the medallions bug. Hope it's so, can't wait. This game needs much more attention imho, every RPG lover cannot miss it. Speaking for myself, I'm really hooked with how events flow in the game. Now I'm blocked though BTW, seems I'm probably the only one in the world that prefer the 'movable' stick controls...I'm actually using it and loving it (the fixed one is simply too ugly in my eyes to be used).
It does fade away when you take your finger off the screen, though. I think in theory the movable stick is great (see Chaos Rings), but the implementation here seems to "slide" as you move the stick, to the point where it become difficult to use. Ugly as it is, the fixed one is responsive and accurate -- something that can't be said about the controls of many Korean ARPGs.
